I want to find color combinations that work well together, because these are quite unique colors, I feel like I’m struggling with this one. But because theu are so beautiful and keep coming back to them. I hope you’ll enjoy this newest creation. A snake in the wildflowers! I love this background and was really inspired by how it turned out. I'm not a doodler but you always make me want to try it. The puzzle piece metaphor is perfect. That is exactly how painting makes me feel. 🥰

Don't buy the Kuretake gel pens then Marianne Vakiener. I am very disappointed in them, especially the 0.5 and 0.8 mm. The 1.0 mm is ok but I would have liked the thinner ones to work as well...

It looks a little cosmic and a little bit flora and fauna. I keep thinking cosmic worm. The colours look good together. Glad you kept going with it as the colours did look really muddy at first but the end product is beautiful.
If you live in the U.S. you can buy Prismacolor colored pencils 1 at a time at Michaels.I like this piece. It really popped when you did the splatter. Have agreat weekend.😊

🐍 are out when 🌞 and they can slither through sun-kissed sand and hide under the boulders. A story told by your beautiful painting. I really enjoy using Arttx pencils. They are vibrant and easy to work with. If you want a higher end pencils then I really enjoy Faber Castell Albert Durer. Can be used wet or dry. Really enjoyed the process. Thanks for sharing

I assume that the darker background that you weren't feeling also used the same set. I have also been watching TH-cam videos on Neurographic Art. Love this video. What type of coloured pencils do you use? Are they watercolour pencils or just soft colouring?
Thank you 🫶🏻 I just updated it. I mostly use Stabilo. They are regular colored pencils, but I also mixed in some Crayola, because I don't have a wide color selection with Stabilo. They are nothing fancy, just regular old colored pencils.
