    I really like this video. It was one of the more informative ones yet simple. I am a highly sensitive person and this has helped me a lot as far as expressing myself. I don't think I quite put as much thought into it the way you explained. I can take from the beginning and the end but when I am doing the lines and the coloring I am in a blank meditative State. Meaning that my mind is blank. I'm not thinking of anything and it is nice to get away. Doesn't help when you're a perfectionist but that takes time to work on.

    • @sarawener
      @sarawener  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am so happy that you found this supportive. Like you, I often "lose my thoughts" when I begin harmonizing and archetyping (coloring in) and go into a flow/meditative state. Each composition brings a different experience dependent on where I am emotionally, and so on. I appreciate you. 💜

    This is so interesting!! I have done neurolographic at, but not with intention. For relaxation. Thank you! I'm looking forward to creating with intention ❤

    • @sarawener
      @sarawener  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes! Setting an intention helps one rewire the brain’s neural pathways and connections. Through NeuroGraphica, we can identify blocks and transform our limited beliefs and behaviors.

    Can you explain more the aspect of 18 or more words to activate brain neurons?

    • @sarawener
      @sarawener  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Great question! The idea behind the 18-word rule is that engaging in detailed or thoughtful discussion can stimulate brain activity. When you talk about a topic for about 18 words or more, it usually requires more cognitive processing, which helps activate various brain regions involved in language, memory, and reasoning. Complex or novel topics tend to engage the brain more quickly because they challenge us to think critically and make connections. So, the more you elaborate on a subject, the more neurons get fired up as your brain works to understand and process the information. Scientific research empirically supports this concept; studies using MRI or EEG have shown real-time changes in brain activity as people engage in discussions.

    Hello, in the end when u drew the very last lines after fixing your topic 02, u did not round the edges of the lines. The edges-rounding-process is not necessary anymore?

    • @sarawener
      @sarawener  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Such a wonderful question! Ultimately, I added in NeuroLines but chose not to round them for two reasons. The first reason is that I am experienced at Neurographica, and it is unnecessary to round all the lines. The other reason is that this final step is called stylization, which is about bringing in your artistic flare and expression. This happens after the composition has been completed. That said, one can always return to any composition and continue to round any angles whenever they feel necessary. I have often revisited old illustrations and found edges I have not noticed.

      As a person of advanced age and life experience, I promise you that following what seems good to you in your art will always be right. If you are a person who insists that there must be a pathway to perfection if only you would properly apply all the rules, there is a potential for feelings of failure. Don’t do that to yourself. It has long been documented that doodling is therapeutic. How ever it seems fun to you is best. I like shading in and rounding off all those corners, but it is only a suggestion . There is a really nice artist on the channel Creative Paula who applies the principles of the neurographic school of therapeutic art in some beautiful ways.

    Hi Sara, Thank you for this algorithm. I took a bad fall about ten days ago so my hand is rather shaky still. I have rounded off the crisis points in the algorithm as best I can but there are still some lines that aren't quite as smooth as before. How "perfect" do the neurotrophic lines need to be?

    • @sarawener
      @sarawener  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Firstly, I am sorry to hear about your fall. I am sending you healing love your way. According to the institute and what I learned, when illustrating the ARL, rounding ALL angles and intersecting NeuroLines is essential. However, given that your hands are shaky, simply do the best you can and notice what comes up for you. This is not a practice of perfection, and rather a practice of process. Be gentle with yourself xoxo

    Hello, Sara, such a nicely explained and arranged session , thanks a lot, I have got a question: should we stick to one topic per one drawing or is it advisable to name several ones ( out of limiting beliefs ) and draw them in one sketch? Thank you!😊

    • @sarawener
      @sarawener  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The rule for Neurographica is to select one topic per composition and only one topic per 24-hour period. Therefore, if you want to do a few compositions in one day, they all must be about the same topic. That said, I have only ever done one composition a day; however, I may revisit the same illustration, continue to round sharp angles, and add some NeuroArt and styling. If you want to manifest some real shifts, I suggest doing the same topic for 21 consecutive days. Good luck!

    • @sarawener
      @sarawener  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! In ARL your topic can be anything you want it to be. A goal you want to accomplish, a challenge you are experiencing. You write down any words that come to your conscious mind. Maybe they will be positive, negative, or both. Do not think, simply allow your subconscious thoughts to emerge through the writing process. I use pencil crayons and markers. • @sarawener
      @sarawener  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't know if Pavel would agree, as Neurographica technically is meant to be used with pens on paper. That said, I have seen many people use iPads and even watercolors. This may fall into NeuroArt more than Neurographica. Ultimately, you should do whatever works best for you as this will become your personal practice. Have fun and enjoy the journey... whichever modality and materials you explore and use.
