When Glenn Frey died, the first headline I saw simply read: He made the world a more beautiful place. Ain´t that the truth!

Sees Joe Walsh: "They look laid back but like they know how to have a good time." Oh honey. You just hit that particular nail on the head.

Eagles give the Beatles & Stones a run for their money in the category of pure talent

Lord how I miss the 70's!!!! The long hair. The music. The clothes. The "take it easy" attitude. Of course if you are going to react to the Eagles you have to do Hotel California.

No computers, no half dressed screaming girls on the stage, just first class music as it was with all the top bands in those days.

I been here since 1952, God this band was great and I mean great. They made life somush better to live. I got all their albums in my closet, bought em when they come out. God I loved my life and the life I lived. It was a wonderful life then. We had it made. All people loved good music. It crossed color. I'm white and partied with black people all the time. The love songs brought all races together. I wish it would happen again.

Eagles=Awesome. Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Joe Walsh (who made the guitar sing) each had exceptional careers after the band broke up. Frey even acted in an episode of Miami Vice (the show featured a few of his songs during its run). You should definitely check out their individual works.

Yes, the EAGLES (Joe Walsh in particular) knew how to have a good time. He was notorious for trashing hotel rooms. People either love or hate the Eagles. I love 'em. Soundtrack of my youth. Listen to them warm up with harmonies with seven bridges road.

I met Joe Walsh when I was 15. I was in the hospital to have my leg amputated. He was so nice, came up to the pediatric floor to sign autographs!!

The Eagles are easily one of the best live bands of all time. Check out "Seven Bridges Road" off their very first live album. No video, just music.

Love hearing The Eagles live. I never got to see them live, though I always wanted to. This is one of their most iconic songs. Rest in peace, Glen Frey!

I had the pleasure of seeing the Eagles, in Alpharetta, GA in 2008. Glenn Frey (pronounced Fry) was still alive. I took my mom and my daughter. They’re about my mom’s age, but their music transcends through time and age. Great reaction. My daughter, who was 20 at the time, said that was the best live band she’d seen, and I agreed.

The Eagles were, IMO the greatest band to come out of the seventies and they never wrote a bad song! Their vocals added a whole new band to the mix much like the Moody Blues and Crosby Stills Nash and Young! They still have the all time record for all time sales of a greatest hits album that will probably never be surpassed!

Yes, India, yes, we were just at a Peter Frampton concert the other night, my childhood love and I said almost the same thing to my hubby, "It's like the guitar is another language, he's clearly speaking to us through it." I love when the musicians enjoy playing together and the music itself.

Take it to the Limit stole the show that night, (it's still here on TH-cam) with Randy agreeing to do the song live one last time, even though he hated to do it live.

In 1976 I had just got my drivers license and cruised everywhere with an eight track tape of the Eagles “ greatest hit “. Actually I think every car in America had an eight track tape of Eagles “greatest hits” in 1976. I would go back in a second (if my family was with me).
