    Realize this was from a year ago but Eagles are probably always best to do live because they worked hard to recreate the studio versions of tunes. Like they’re known for their perfectionism.
    “Take It to the Limit” and “New Kid in Town” from this same live show are both worth checking out and reacting to too.

    There will always be a difference between live versions and the "official videos". I believe that if the request just lists the name of the band and the song, go with the official video version. If you listen to the studio version of this same song by The Eagles you won't hear much difference. What makes them so damn incredible is that if your eyes were closed you can't tell the difference between the two AND that their instrumentals are insane. Great reaction and if you had sat still for it I would have been worried lol

  • @rjaraneta913
    @rjaraneta913 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Eagles' co-leaders, Glenn Frey and Don Henley were perfectionists. There is very little difference between the studio and live versions of their songs as far as arrangements. The only factor may be the energy/vibe they are getting from the audience.

    Well actually they are noted for playing their songs live to sound exactly like they do on the record with precision and personally I like it like that , I know some fans like artists to improvise but the record is what got me to the concert to begin with , so yes I want to hear it like that. I’ve seen the eagles about 7 times and every show was incredible first saw them on the Hotel California tour in 76

    Life in the fast lane, outlaw man, Doolin-Dalton, Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise, Pretty Maids All In A Row, Try and Love Again, Seven Bridges Road, The Sad Cafe, Wasted Time, The Last Resort, The Long Run, Saturday Night..... some are slower, some rock a little harder, but you can't go wrong with the Eagles. Their entire catalog is legendary.

      @unrulyjulie I scrolled down to see if anyone made mention of Bernie Leadon. Thanks for doing so, he is overlooked and almost forgotten as a member of the Eagles. Yet he was such a major factor in their early years. It's always a pleasure to me when someone knows more than the masses. And that's you!

      @@laudanum669 ... Thanks! Now you've made me blush. 🤗
      I love watching Bernie and Joe doing their dueling guitar solo thing on Hotel California. They're both masters. Joe is a fantastic pure rock guitarist, but Bernie has that and can play with a lot of finesse as well. Not to mention the banjo and anything else with strings.
