My favourite outfit is the purple suit with the mustard yellow blouse and heels. They are opposites on the colour wheel, and simply stunning! After a serious look at my closet and some major declutterring, I follow the “one in, two out” approach. I have bought nothing new this summer except for a white tee, white Keds (both as replacements for dingy items), and a white cotton gauze long-sleeved shirt, perfect for breezy sun protection (thrifted). And keeping in mind that every day we are alive is “special,” I now wear my “good” jewellery pretty much every day. Some costume jewellery that I no longer wear I keep for my grandkids to play dress-up.
I like the look of the turquoise shirt with the skirt and the white shirt/blouse and the white shoes. I think the golden blouse would look nice with a white pair of dress pants or a skirt. The leather jacket look is really nice too. The maxi skirt, especially the color, with the green wool blazer looks wonderful together. The purple silk suit with the gold blouse looks beautiful.
