For those who are buying their first trench coats…I have 2 traditional trench coats from the Coach Outlet store with the belt and front flap that are high quality/beautiful that I recommend. A tan trench for Fall and a sand trench for Spring is all you need but if you can only have one pick a tan color because it is the most classic. I normally wear regular wool coats in darker colors during winter months because it is colder.

Great video, I’m new to your channel but the shopping my closet statement called me.. I recently retired, I’m 57, my style is mostly classic but I find myself lately just in house dresses 😢 I need to purge my closet and just incorporate practical, classic but casual clothing. I don’t follow trends but I just wear fall colors 😢 so I really liked your first outfit ❤

I think you are right about the white shoes. For some reason in general I like the outfits with less contrast on you the most. You still look stunning in everything though.

Hi Lisa! Don't get rid of the leopard blouse! Use a small clear elastic rubber band, looped through the button hole onto the button. Push the sleeve up and it won't show the underside of the sleeve. Enjoying your videos! Congrats on 1K🎉🎉

I usually only wear my leopard print with black, but I love it with the red. A red blazer is on my wish list now.

I'm a huge fan of the classic trench coat. I have four that I alternate between all seasons. My favorite is plaid from Free People and it's thrifted. I get compliments every time I wear it. :)

I like classics and elegant styles of dressing. I sew a lot of my own clothing and love vintage with a pop of modern accessories. I'm not too impressed with trends especially with what I've seen on the runways lately. Every now and then i will pick up a trend...I like animal print....i will wear a top or shoes/boots... I have a faux fur coat that i made and love to wear with every thing from jeans to dressy. Great feature thanks for sharing!

Another great video. I think you definitely need to get a pair of cowboy boots: you should find a good pair while thrifting. I really like the pattern mixing with the Relaxed Royals style.

More great ideas and inspiration - thank you, Lisa. After some serious decluttering and inventory-taking, I am now in a “no-buy” year, where I am shopping my closet exclusively. (Of course I will replace worn-out items, such as lingerie and socks, as needed.). As to following trends: I am an 80% classics/ 20% trends gal. I add just enough on-trend pieces, e.g. a leopard-print belt or scarf, to keep my look current. Interestingly, I have some of these trendy pieces from years gone by, as everything goes in cycles. So I really don’t need anything! Great news for my pocketbook, for sure. ❤️🇨🇦

I’ve never had a trench coat, time to start shopping for one. Being rather tall (5’ 8”) length is always important to me, I don’t like miss-matched hem lines either.

Your son did a great job with the photos. In addition to the classic trench coat, like various trench coat styles.

I have a classic beige just-above-the-knee-length trench coat, which goes with everything. The climate where I live is quite temperate, so a light coat is enough for all but the coldest days. However, I don’t like the look of two separate hemlines, so I have avoided wearing dresses and skirts with my trench coat (my winter coats are longer and look fine). I’ll be looking for a trench coat in a mid-calf length this fall so that I can actually wear my skirts and dresses! No point in having them just hanging in the closet. 🙂🇨🇦

I would say get a trenchcoat that does both. Just in case it might rain and something that stylish.
