I had one, several years ago from the mid/late 1800's, (it even had a wooden rim) With that one we totally sandblasted even the inside porcelain off and had to have a 12" ish crack down the middle welded. It turned our great, but took about three months to complete.
Hi, Yes, we can refinish most any color. Most go with White, Silver (metallic) looks more like Nickel. Gold or Platinum, Black (both gloss and satin), Bronze tone. The one thing we don't do is Electro Plating.
fully paint.one side then acid wash other side next running acid washout into new paint. ? Then rub dirty fingers into filler holes. Plus working at floor level. Put it on a lifter table. Amateur hour.

I can fix it. I restored one a year ago from 1912. It was in pretty bad shape.

Did you use awl epoxy paint for the top coat? If not, what did you use?

Yankee's are silly and he is a red face (alcoholic) but he does have quite a act for restoring the tubs. I give him an A+

Awlgrip is the greatest coating, not like others...
among other things, it is used in chemical environments...
