I have the same issues but I can live with it. More annoying are the regular little and random bugs in MSFS still there after so many years. I prefer to fly with X-Plane even though the Landscape when you are flying low is not as good. Flying high and IFR it is not important and X-plane is stabel. By the way some airports included in standard x-plane are very nice already.

Thanks for another interesting insight into your build. Just a suggestion, you can get a splitter where 1 HDMI cable from your computer splits into 2 HDMI (or display adaptors or whatever that other one is) outputs to display the same thing onto 2 separate screens. That would at least let you avoid having to drag your main screen onto the operator station for changes.

cheers. Would there not be a performance hit when doing that ?

@@CessSim I’m no expert but I doubt it because the GPU isn’t working any harder. It’s producing a single display to plonk onto that cable and you’re splitting that display “downstream” of the computer. I guess you could turn off the operator station display when not in use as well. I like your logo by the way, tell me that’s new and I’m not just very unobservant?

@@c310sim6 Yes you are observant. Playing around with some branding improvements...........

Just make sure the splitter has the same rating as the cable eg 4k at 60Hz or whatever the cable is rated at

@@brexpatfarang3780 thanks mate. Noted. May give this a try sometime soon and see what happens.........

Definitely some points to be mindful of and some I am familiar with. For the front screen I change mine to windowed view in the options and size it to finish just above glareshield. When I hit "fly" I press a button that sends Alt Enter to change it to Full Screen. Whenever I pause I press the same button to change it back to windowed and it appears as before finishing just above glareshield

Couldn't you use an IR repeater with new IR receivers mounted in a more accessible location?

Interesting point Scott. Will give it some thought. The TV turning on and off is more annoying rather than a major flaw.....me just whinging me thinks !!!
