Im tired of rape being used as a facade for bashing men.
Male Feminists have become so blinded by their natural instinct to protect women that they have forgotten that men can be victims too.
If mohak was really worth his salt he would mention that In 2014, as per a report submitted by Delhi Commission for women 53% of reported rapes in 2012-13 were found to be 'false'.
Check google if you doubt this information, I am sure that majority rape cases in India are fake and not only rape cases but also dowry cases and molestation cases too.. women also force for divorce from their well earning husbands purposefully so as to capture their half income and property (called Alimony) like Jeff Bezos's wife did.

well high crime , police not being able to solve crime and unsafe streets r the problem. people who prey on others usaully come from broken families and high crime areas. The US is a great example of this In blue states where crime is tolerated , high gun control laws and defunding of the police results in high crime areas . where in red states where the police are funded and managed well, eased gun control and does nto tolerate crimes ends up haveing way safer strees and dramatically less crimes

This happened when I was in 10th standard, we had this chapter on reproduction in human beings and sexual health, which our biology teacher completely skipped. On being questioned she raised fingers at US and complained to our class teacher who in turn questioned us "what is so interesting that you need to read the chapter, we didnot learn this when we were in school" and much more along of the lines of the same.
This is the kind of awareness we are receiving in our schools, where students should be learning. These are our teachers. What will the youth be and what will we expect??

The next thing that kid replied was "Larki kaam karta hai kya haha". You see... whatever it is, it all starts when we are kids. All the unhealthy and healthy concepts.
    UPDATE, 7nov'22:
It's been a year I commented this. I read your replies. Some of you are concerned how the kid is being raised by his parents. I talked to the child's parents and even they concerned from where he is been learning such dialogues it seems. They have a different mother tongue but the kid is very fluent in Hindi and speaks sentences that even his parents aren't aware of. Simple minded parents concerned about their kid. The child is healthy and seems to be open to learning new things I noticed. Lots of room for improvement 👍

Im waiting for the why women rape video.
Yeah not all women do that, but beware of the women you are with and also beware of any such women who can potentially send you to jail misusing Indian laws

If it was only about sex, then men could easily go to prostitutes or even get one night stands on dating websites/apps these days. Rape is more about men being insensitive towards women, it’s more so about the power dynamic and ego satisfaction. It’s sad to say that I myself have been harassed by someone that I love, someone that I was dating with. He really didn’t understand the subject of consent and boundaries. All he thought was that I was his girlfriend so he was allowed to touch me whenever he wants even if I was saying no. One day, I was fed up and confronted him. That’s when I learned that he was just unaware that this is disrespectful and it shouldn’t be done. Most Men in this society don’t really understand the concept of consent. They just convince themselves that doing this is the right thing because nobody in their entire life truly, fully confronted them or taught them about respect, consent and boundaries. Most men go into marriage thinking that now they can have sex anytime they want because legally, or according to the society they have a wife. They don’t even realise what they do is forceful and wrong because they are convinced that what they do is justified. They have no idea of marital rape. The person who harassed me was responsible for his actions and he realised his crimes when I confronted him. He was truly guilty and apologised to me, even started doing his best to make me feel comfortable and not to cross my boundaries like that ever again. I’m not saying that he was innocent, but as a society, we have failed because we aren’t unable to teach our children about such important topics. Because I didn’t even realise that this was harassment until one and half years later of being repeatedly harassed. I was afraid to call it sexual harassment because I was never taught that your boyfriend touching you even when you don’t want him to, when you are uncomfortable with it is considered as harassment. It is crossing you boundaries. And this is just glorified by bollywood. It is considered attractive or cool in movies when guys try to charm their way into a girl’s heart/pants by being a douche, by catcalling them or forcefully touching them. We MUST educate ourselves and people around us on such topics to reduce the chances of such crimes.

Nothing, I repeat NOTHING in this universe justifies something as heinous as rape or any form of sexual harassment. It can't be a reaction to any desire, emotion, or crime. If a woman says NO, it's a NO. It's a crime that has no space for mercy or explanation and if a man can't learn to respect consent and control their goddamn sexual desires then he's a walking failure, he's not a man anymore. In my opinion,
1- Parents should really be taught parenting. In india I see this as a huge problem. It starts right at the beginning.
2- Bollywood and media too played a huge role in this. Promoting violence and "thoda cheekhegi chillaiyegi, ek din maan jayegi" attitudde.
3- Sex should be more openly talked by our biology teachers who just skip this chapter altogether.
4- Dads should have THE conversation with their sons.
    5- And of-course education,
You have no idea how many random people I have talked to and pried into their darker side. It absolutely disgusts how many of them have it set in their minds "she is asking for it". Both educated and not so educated.

I once watched an Indian TV series "Kya qusoor hai amla ka" . The girl was gang raped and then was forced to marry one of the rapists... But the point is not that. This is so common in India that it doesn't even feel absurd.
The picturization of rape in the show was something that caught my attention for the longest time. The rapists didn't even seem to enjoy sexual pleasure. So sexual satisfaction was not the motive. The motive was just to prove the power they had upon a woman's body, that they could violate her. No fear, no shame, no guilt. Like raping someone was the most casual thing they did in the day. And then leaving her, they walked away. As if she really deserved it and they did just the right thing.
That was the show and the brutal picturization which has always intrigued me to think what really goes on in the mind of the rapists, their psychology and how could they really live with such a conscience.

In my opinion 2 reasons that are really important to address in order to face this issue are -
    1. Normalize boy girl casual friendly relationship (which is completely opposite in our society).

Im waiting for the why women rape video.
Yeah not all women do that, but beware of the women you are with and also beware of any such women who can potentially send you to jail misusing Indian laws

Problem is that boys and girls don't know how to maintain "friendship" without being attracted to one another. I won't say all of these cases are bad but only when you become mature you understand that friendship with another gender needs some boundaries and lots of self control.. young people don't have it at all. There is a reason why parents are afraid of these friendships. But it's their fault to some extent too when they don't teach their kids what boundaries look like and YOU CAN SAY NO TO PEOPLE. Too often girls get trapped in situations where they intent to not get involved in anything more than friendship but it doesn't favor them.

I am not a certified expert on human psychology but can identify one significant reason for this problem. There is no healthy relationship build up between Male and Female from their childhood especially in rural areas or small towns. Schools segregate them and disallows them even to interact with each other. While what should be done is teaching them from a young age to respect opposite genders similarities and differences in a healthy way. Encourage them to build up healthy and respectful relationship with everyone regardless of gender.
While what is mostly seen is that Majority of Men and Women too from such Background do not even know how to interact with the opposite gender and thus result in sexual frustration and on extreme level might result in sexual violence.
Encouraging young kids for a positive outlook can cure many social evils prevalent in society.

We as a society and the government has equal part to play in stopping this incidents from happening.

I don't agree that death penalty is a regressive step. Death penalty for all rapists is a must and will give out a strong message that if you rape then you will die a painful death. This will act as a big deterrent for these animals. Yes they are heartless animals who think they can get away with just a few years of imprisonment. Death Penalty is a must

    • @sakshamtyagi9652
      @sakshamtyagi9652 ปีที่แล้ว

Instead of giving the message it will decrease the amount of cases reported. The vast majority of rape victims are assaulted by their family members and people they know. The fact that their friend, relative or family member will die if they report the case discourages the victim and they'd even be pressured by the family to not report.
Instead of giving out these ill-informed opinions I'd suggest to research these topics a bit.
