Brahmins marry within the Brahmin community rejecting those from others as unsuitable for marriage or other close personal relationships. Brahmins separate themselves from the rest of society by themselves. Brahmins establish their own services, and maintain their own traditions and customs. By remaining in a reserve and in isolation, Brahmins preserve their cultures intact as long and protect them. Brahmins consider others as intellectually and socially equal. @@snehashispanda1651 You know, your ancestral generation can be found out from your blood. Brahmin(from what they say) come from better blood line than other caste. And how their blood is better? because of the occupation they did for centuries and how they lived. That is also stored in our blood. Genetic structuring , enhancement, evolution whatever, is feeded in their blood. So its all about enhancing your tree.
Apple tree can give apple, orange will give orange. But if you have both seeds mixed, you dont know what you're getting. It may be even better, but nobodies know. The best case here to follow, is to keep them separate, so that they can get better and better as they age.
I dont know if they make sense. I'm Brahmin that too upper caste brahmin. My parents dont have anything with intercaste(yeah but not SC) or even inter religion. But from what ive seen around me, I'm convinced, that blood line is not something made up thing. It actually exists. PEACE

It's better to choose a practical way of living. We know that with just one person's salary it is not possible to take care of a household. So let's prepare girls and boys keeping that in mind. Ghar ka kaam should be shared just like expenses and bills. Respect each other and acknowledge their contributions rather than measuring them.with Mom and Dad's.

As a 20 year female, I realised after watching this video that it is very much important for a female to be financially independent. I believe people marry so that they find a partner who can help them to make their life easier and reduce their effort ( not just financially but in each and every perspective ). Not because they want drama after their marriage. It's important to live a peaceful and happy life. Marriage is indeed not the end goal it's a part of life. Hence, choose your partner wisely. Marry when you are ready not because your parents, relatives or society wants you to.

My friend from school was very adamant even at that age that she won't marry an Indian guy, due to dowry harassment her mother had to go through form her father. True to her words, she went to US for masters, fell in love with an American of Korean descent and is happily married now. It was a simple American style wedding with immediate family and the expense was born by both of them (American style) without any contribution from her or her husband's parents/family and no dowry. Has an angelic looking 2-year-old kid now and when they visited India last month, I could see my friend really glowing. Could really see how happy she was, and I must admit I felt slightly jealous. One honest and useful tip for the boys here.... Unless you're filthy rich or having a well paying job, don't get into a relationship. Love and all fall apart like a deck of cards when it's about earning and wealth. My ex girlfriend and i both are engineers, she all of sudden ended our 7 yr old relationship bcoz her papa wouldn't agree and she cannot hurt him by marrying me. Cut scene, she married a guy who's a doctor and 4 yrs elder to her. Paying him a hefty amount in dowry, This was within 3 months of breakup.
Remember boys love isn't enough to marry your girlfriend and keep her happy, you either have to earn equal or more than her dad to full fill her needs. Nothing against girls or love relationships here, it's just my personal experience, contradictions are welcome!

Not just marry but date according to that. Too many young women and men are way too stupid to just date based on shallow things like looks and body of a woman or status, money and popularity of a guy. You see it in high schools and colleges all the time people go for people who have high SMV. But when it comes to marriage they completely change their criteria in a partner. We need sexual awareness not sex education. Awareness around what sort of toxic men and women to ignore so that people don't carry their years of baggage in form of trauma and hurt into their marriage.

Just saw a divorce of a family member after 3 months of love marriage due to dowry reasons. Love marriages are equally at risk because this mindset is deeply rooted in all Indians. Also few years ago saw a relative dying of heart attack due to the pressure of their daughter's marriage. I am very young for marriage but I have made a promise to myself that I won't take any dowry from anyone no matter what people think about me. It just doesn't make sense to me that just to please people around you whom you won't even talk to after the marriage you need to fulfill their so called parampara and put a big burden on a family. Be capable enough to marry someone and then move forward so that you don't need anyone's money. Also start accepting working women, this regressiveness have put our country much behind other 3rd world countries. Women are not born to be housewives, they are much more than that.

On the other hand false dowry claim allegations, legal threat blackmailing if not the demands are fulfilled and not to forget marital rape allegation threat are also skyrocketing against which no legal measures are available in the case of innocence of the husband, also in divorce, the laws are unfaakingbelievably discriminated against man where the woman will get the divorce and of course the monthly allowance just by complaining in court whereas even if the women cheated with other guy and the husband provided the court with video proof of that the husband still have to give the monthly allowance!! I mean in this present time marrying a woman in India is much more self destructive in comparison to self bombing yourself, atleast you die instantly with bomb without much idea of pain but in marriage you will die slowly and painfully in a long course of your life.

Working women should start accepting unemployed men also... The strong independent employed career women need not be worried that the rich well employed men are refusing to marry her,,, Because there are many poor unemployed homeless handsome young men who are ready to marry an employed woman and become her househusband... So, There is a very easy solution to this problem faced by strong independent career women.. All employed career Women who want to work after marriage, stay in her father's house after marriage, and look after her parents, do not want to take leave from her job to look after her kids etc can marry a poor, unemployed homeless, handsome, young man... He will be happy to live in his career wife's house because he is homeless. So, the wife can always look after her parents . He will never stop his career wife from working after her marriage because he is unemployed . Because he is unemployed and always sitting inside his wife Father's house, he will look after her small kids. So, she need not take leave from work to look after her kids. She can continue her career and present life style in her Father's house... But, a rich well employed man who owns his own house, is not going to come and live in his father in law's house. Most rich well employed men don't want to marry employed women. Rich well employed men already have enough money, and so he does not need the salary of his wife. So, most rich well employed men want to have an unemployed housewife and have a Peaceful married life. There are many unemployed girls who don't like to work, who are poor, living in rented house, because her parents are poor and don't have money to buy to their own house etc. These poor unemployed girls are waiting for some man to come and marry her and take her to the husband's house and give her free food and shelter for the rest of her life. So, the rich well employed men like to marry such unemployed women and lead a happy life in his own house . While the career girls who do not want to go to her husband's house, want to work after marriage etc can marry a poor, unemployed, homeless, handsome young man and take her husband to her father's house or to her rented house and lead a happy life ... So, everyone is happy.. But, what happens is that when independent employed career women are given 2 choices.. 1.. marry a poor unemployed homeless handsome young man who actually wants to marry an employed woman, so that she can continue to work after marriage till her retirement from job at 60 years.. OR.. 2.. Marry a rich well employed man with big house, who does not want to marry an employed woman and he actually wants to marry an unemployed woman... Now the independent employed career women always select the second choice and she will tell the rich well employed man that she will stop working after marriage and shall become a housewife, because she wants to stay in the rich well employed man's bigger house. The employed woman refuses to marry a poor unemployed handsome homeless man who wants his wife to work after marriage and he is also ready to stay in her father's house.. And then she tries to blame society for not allowing her to work after marriage, look after her parents etc when it is clear that she herself had the choice to work after marriage, if she had married the poor unemployed homeless handsome young man.... That is the hypocrisy of women... Why cannot employed women marry a poor unemployed homeless handsome young man who actually wants his wife to work after marriage.... Instead of trying to marry a rich well employed man who actually wants to marry an unemployed woman... A

This problem is not only in India, it's also widely prevalent in western countries of Europe, North America and South America.... The basic solution is giving girls and boys equal opportunities since childhood especially in education and let a girls do whatever they want to do in under-grad courses like boys do because these two things mostly shape a quality of life in future.
These social problems have a simple solution... it is just many of us especially men and older women who have been a part of such society don't want to change and recognise it and thus make it 'complex' in a counter defencive mode.☺️

The actual things which matter in a marriage (love, care, compatibility, understanding, like-mindedness) doesn't bother them.

Succession act is applicable only if the owner of the property has already died without registering any will.. Property rights of daughter/son.. Daughter/son cannot forcibly demand property from a father who does not want to give them property. It is the wish of the father to give or not to give. All Children get Equal right of parent's property only AFTER the DEATH of the parent.. But, when the parent is still ALIVE, he can sell, gift or give for free all his self acquired property to anyone he likes or he can Register a will and give it to anyone after his death.
Daughter's claim to father's property: When she can and when she can't... The Hindu Succession Act 1956 was amended in 2005, allowing daughters an equal share in ancestral property. But, succession act is applicable only to divide the property of a dead person and Not to divide the property of a living person. Also any will registered by the owner of the property before his death will supersede and override all succession acts and inheritance laws.. Also, Only the property that is still registered in the name of the dead great grandfather or above generation is considered as ancestral property. Self acquired property of father and grandfather is not considered as ancestral property... Despite this, can your father deprive you of your share in the property? Find out:
      1. If property has been self-acquired by father...
In the case of a self-acquired property, that is, where a father has bought a piece of land or house with his own money, a daughter is on weaker ground. The father, in this case, has the right to gift the property to anyone he wants or will it to anyone he wants, or sell it to anyone he wants and a daughter will not be able to raise an objection. Son or wife also cannot raise an objection if the father is not giving them any of his self acquired property. Self acquired property of dead grandfather is also considered as self acquired property of the father.
      2. If property is ancestral...
Under the Hindu law, property is divided into two types: ancestral and self-acquired. Ancestral property is defined as one that is inherited up to four generations of male lineage and should have remained undivided throughout this period. For descendants, be it a daughter or son, an equal share in such a property accrues by birth itself. Before 2005, only sons had a share in such property. So, by law, a father cannot will such property to anyone he wants to, or deprive a daughter of her share in it. By birth, a daughter has a share in the ancestral property. Only the property that is still registered in the name of the dead great grandfather or above generation is considered as ancestral property.
      3. If father dies intestate...
If the father dies intestate, that is, without leaving a will, all legal heirs have an equal right to the property. The Hindu Succession Act categorises a male’s heirs into four classes and the inheritable property goes first to Class I heirs. These include the widow, daughters and sons, among others. Each heir is entitled to one part of the property, which means that as a daughter you have a right to a share in your father’s property.
4... If father dies after registering will...
If the property was self acquired property of your father , then your father has absolute right to execute a will and give his property to anyone he likes.. But, if the will was not properly registered.. Then if you can show that father was not willing to execute such a will, but your brothers had put pressure upon the father and obtained it by forcing the father, then you can challenge it within three years from your knowledge. If it is found that father was not in position to understand effect of the will or was pressurized by some one or was not in sound mental condition at the time of writing the will, then the court may cancel the will, and divide the property equally among all the children. So, to avoid such problems in the future , the brother should take the father to the government register office and prepare the will in stamp paper and father should sign the will in the presence of 2 witness and the government register officers. The brother should take father to Government hospital and get medical certificate about his mental condition. If the will is registered properly then there is no chance for disputes later.. s

You will live on EMI for the rest of your life and let your kid settle it.
I feel so amused, there is a friend of mine with this same ideology to let his wife sit at home and help his parents while he is earning Rs 25000 in Chandigarh, he is living in a rented PG with 4 other people and spends around Rs 15000, while the other Rs 10000 he give it to his wife, in emergency cases he has to ask his parents in law for money 😅
Bro time has changed there is high inflation rate and high risks in private companies, eventhough your salary is Rs 90000 but you will take back home Rs 50000, with increase in prices and rents it is not sufficient to survive in a metro city.

One of my friend married a guy from UP whom she worked with in an MNC. Theirs was a love marriage with opposition from both sides. My friend was Malayali Christian and the guy's family was UP brahmin from Kanpur. The guy's family demanded lakhs of rupees of dowry and also demanded a bullet for the younger son because she was not from their caste. The guy initially opposed his parents demands but soon after marriage he told my friend to slightly 'adjust'. My friend gave up meat and eggs for him and became pure vegetarian, did all the poojas whenever his family demanded. Celebrated all the festivals with them. But her then husband and family, made her life miserable. Two years later, it was tipping point and she went to her family and told them that she longer wants to stay with him and or his family. The had a civil court divorce with the judge ordering the family to pay everything back. Now, she's married to someone from her community who has more liberal outlook and is happily settled abroad with twins. Even with many cross cultural and inter-caste marriages, women are at the receiving end.

Something similar happened with my friend. She married a Muslim guy who was our college batchmate (against her family wishes offcourse), even changed her identity / converted under pressure as she was heads over heels in love with the chap. Later on she couldn’t adjust to the different culture and interference of her in-laws to the point of restricting her day to day freedom of clothes to wear and whom to talk with and when to come home etc etc. she finally had enough and later on divorced the guy after 1.5 years of struggle to make it work.
Now she is well settled in Bangalore with a guy from south itself.
Nobody in our group could’ve imagined her first marriage would turn out to be so disastrous owing to religious differences and family interference.

That was my last meeting with her...this was all 3 years back..!! I realised most women have no self respect or they want some back to guard them then only they can take big step..!
My friendship was of no use I wish I would have taught her to respect herself first..!!

My cousin is senior to her husband both by experience and post. Her MIL told her that she didn't want a working Bahu for her son. I guess she wanted to say I don't care if earn or how much you earn, it has no value for me. In many families it is about power dynamics, people say that after marriage your daughter will be like a daughter for us but they don't really mean it. They can never accept that an outsider will have similar power and control over their family as them. They still prefer a submissive Bahu and wife.

I prefer love marriage ( i am talking about long term relationship converting into marriage and not about 1, or 2 year relationships ). Cuse in love marriage you Know how much good and worst a person can be. And after knowing the worst part if you except your partner then only marry. In arrange marriage, it's like a gamble, your partner can be soo good and also can be soo bad. And you can't know immediately after 1 or 2 year of marriage how bad a person can be ( pretending like a good & loving partner for 1,2 year is not that hard). Then after 4,5 year when you will realise , there is higher cance that you don't have any options ( probably you have kids now, and age is also a factor ).
