I own a business, have a family & have no police record. You don't have to lose your life to drugs. Some ppl let them enhance their lives! It's all up to the individual!

I was a Dope Shooting junkie,but I got sick and tired of bring dick and tired.I had been shooting Dope for years.I decided to quit! I moved away from my hometown for almost five years.I quit cold turkey and didn"t hang with my so called friends.I've been Clean over thirty years.You just have to make up your mind and have a stron will power.Now I'm 65 years old and because of help c from shooting Dope I habe cirrohsis of the lives and lung cancer.I"m still not giving up.They are taking Part of my lung out on 12/09/2021,
All I know is some people can handle drugs but some can't because they don't have a choice once they ingest it, it makes their mind believe stuff that isn't true and they go to a dark place. I know from experience you can do a drug and like the first gentleman said use it for positive outcomes. I have graduated and received an associates degree while I was on meth but I had lived the bad side also, but it's not about the drug sometimes it's the company you keep that keeps you down because like I said not everyone can do drugs and function. Those are the ones that if you get involved with them it's a rough road ahead and it's sad but funny at the same time. You can call me a tweaker anytime because we are actually some of the smartest people you'll ever meet once you get to know us and who we truly are. Meth users have on average a 10% higher I Q. than the general public. Although it is not physically addictive it can be the hardest drug to kick because it enhances that in which we get pleasure. I can speak from experience that it is a cure all. Obviously you're getting your fix. You can feel bad & it will make you feel better but it also deadens horrible tooth pain almost immediately so it does have an effect on your mental aspects. It like all others drugs start out as a choice but after awhile become anything but. Yet as like all drugs it comes down to the choice you make. If you"re doing drugs, alcohol, ect. it's because you choose to. The human mind is more powerful than any addiction. If you want to quit, you will. If not, you won't. If you are doing them then you are doing them. Don't pass blame because you are the one making the choice. Don't get me wrong, addiction is very real & over coming it may be the hardest thing you'll ever do but bottom line is, you will only quit if you truly want to. There is nothing we can't over come. You simply have to want that. Not think you do but truly want to. Good luck to all in this battle because it's for life but you got this. Day at a time & most likely you will relapse but that happens & you start again at day 1. Never give up & you'll get there. It's a bitch but nothing worth while is usually easy. You'll be stronger but remember where you been. You of all people know what it does so never look down on a person for doing this. If you do, addiction was not the real problem you have. Same here Alcoholic and Drug addict,, but I have always been a heavy drinker for the last 40 years but after starting meth its like the alcohol does not really matter much anymore, I still have a mixed drink here and there but with that being said I am in a strange way glad I started doing meth, bcux prior to that on top of being a alcoholic, was also hooked on opiates that were prescribed to me for fourteen years due to a chronic back injury, That was terrible, couldn't make myself get out of bed if I didn't have at least 6 or 7 perk tens to get me going, and not one person is exempt from it so people don't judge, bcux it could very well be you or your family members addicted too!!!

I've always and still am a heavy binge drinker for past 30 plus years and have had issues with heroin and was on methadone and off that now on suboxin but hurt my back about 20 years ago pinched a nerve which took months to feel somewhat ok then years without issue. Well I've been doing good working at as a cook, prep cook, catering, weddings etc for past 4 years at a higher class banquet house and past few weeks my back has gone out to a point where I can't hardly move and have missed lots of work and they're not too happy. Almost not believing me because I've never showed signs of back issues prior. I don't know what My next move should be because this pain is so extreme and no end in sight and docs only X-ray and play games. Now my boss wants a doctors note by monday when monday is when the clinic opens. And today is saturday. I'm so depressed

You would be one od the rare cases of instant hook ive known many people that could sit in rooms with people rollin a bowl and never be affected i myself have been in cars with temps to cold to roll down windows and people rollin a bowl and not affected not saying that everybody is lile that cause each is different BUT what i have seen is that there's 2 types of drug users #1 are those who do drugs #2 those who let the drugs do them... Ive seen junkies (shooters) swear they're addicted and a few days later be as they never touched anything and stay clean and users admitting addiction that try to get clean as well as seek help and cant shake it... I lost the love of my life to Meth cuz he completely lost his mind. Even after he quit his mind is still gone yrs later. I had to walk away from him cuz he was a danger to me, literally. So you people doing this crap, don't think it' can't happen to you cuz it can. His family had No mental illness history and he was an occasional user. If you choose to use it, it's your choice but beware it doesn't care how much money havw, if you have a family, if you work hard, meth doesn't care who it destroys.

I watched as my son was taken over by meth and a many a night I cried and asked God to watch over him. He is now in rehab and doing great. But I watched my son loose his mind, do you know how hard that was cause all I seen was my little boy going through something I couldn't fix. When people start taking responsibility for their behavior it creates an awareness of the world around them. Some seek pleasure others an escape from personal problems . That is what I would "show everyone" in regards to how to treat someone struggling with addiction. Family members have just as much of a hard time dealing with their addict family members, so I understand the frustration and seeming futility of having to deal with an addict. But being mean spirited and spiteful is never going to get anyone anywhere and in my opinion I feel that is exactly what this song is.

Addiction is strong but if you want to quit & truly do want to, then it's just a matter of finding whatever it is that keeps you away from it. Good luck on your continuing battle. You got it though & one day it won't even be appealing. If you feel weak there is always help all over. Don't be afraid to use it. That's what it's there for.

NA meetings and AA meetings... and some treatment a few times a week... ive been staying away...

You would be one od the rare cases of instant hook ive known many people that could sit in rooms with people rollin a bowl and never be affected i myself have been in cars with temps to cold to roll down windows and people rollin a bowl and not affected not saying that everybody is lile that cause each is different BUT what i have seen is that there's 2 types of drug users #1 are those who do drugs #2 those who let the drugs do them... Ive seen junkies (shooters) swear they're addicted and a few days later be as they never touched anything and stay clean and users admitting addiction that try to get clean as well as seek help and cant shake it... I think this song is very disrespectful. To call someone with an addiction that they can't stop a looser and scary looking. Addiction affects people of all social levels. I watched as my son was taken over by meth and a many a night I cried and asked God to watch over him. He is now in rehab and doing great. But I watched my son loose his mind, do you know how hard that was cause all I seen was my little boy going through something I couldn't fix. It's comedy . I was an addict, clean for 5 years. Meth didn't take control. I lost control for making bad choices. When people start taking responsibility for their behavior it creates an awareness of the world around them. Some seek pleasure others an escape from personal problems . We all know that these substances are illegal and how they can ruin people, but some, like me, with my selfish pride convince myself that I could handle it without repercussions. I was wrong. @@gidgetkent6430 lol considering I was a rehab counselor I am well qualified to do just that. I believe that addicts need a bit more compassion and a lot less persecution. That is what I would "show everyone" in regards to how to treat someone struggling with addiction. Family members have just as much of a hard time dealing with their addict family members, so I understand the frustration and seeming futility of having to deal with an addict. But being mean spirited and spiteful is never going to get anyone anywhere and in my opinion I feel that is exactly what this song is.
