    2022 Honda Civic Touring 1.5T
    Price (As Tested) 💲: $29,150
    Powertrain ⚙️: 180 hp/ 177 lb-ft
    Transmission 🕹: Continuously variable-speed automatic
    0-60 MPH 🚦: 7.49 seconds
    1/4 Mile 🏁: 15.45 seconds @ 93.33 mph
    Top Speed 💥: 126 mph
    MPG ⛽️: (Cty/Hwy/Combined): 31/38/34
    Curb Weight ⚖️: 3,077 lbs.
    Had a wonderful experience driving the new Honda Civic 1.5T. While I was not a fan of the 2.0L version, this one really surprised me with its confident and brisk acceleration and very hushed cabin for the class. This car can easily compete with the Audi A3 in terms of comfort and build quality. It's a joy to drive. The CVT was always in the powerband and provided an instant response at any speed. Highly recommend this specific trim. I think the Touring Hatchback in Sonic Gray looks the best out of any Civic. Please enjoy the video and like & subscribe.
    P.S - I apologize for the sniffing sounds. Seasonal allergies.

    i still just love the interior, exterior is more mature than last gen imo. Although I dislike how they removed some features like cooled seating and lumbar support from the touring.

    Great video bro! Finally someone really pushed this in and review. Completely sold now that the performance will be enough. The 0-60 was on a flat? I believe that was the incline indicator saying flat ir slight incline on bottom left but I wasn’t sure. Thanks dude!

    Noise in the Touring is not that bad coming from a Jetta. You just get a bit more engine noise in the cabin but dynamically it handles better too and it's sportier than the jetta.

    Honestly I did feel the difference between 2.0 and 1.5 power wise but not enough to spend the extra money I have a 2.0 and on freeway use they both work the same plus coming from someone who puts 150-200 miles a day I trust the 2.0 in longevity Honda I
    Has been making that engine for over 20 years. Good review though

      @Kevin 2jZzzz I currently have a 2019 hatch with the 1.5turbo. I have a long drive to work and back and drive it very spiritedly, and I just do the regular maintenance and I currently have 174,002 miles currently on it and have had no issues. Obviously the 2.0 is bulletproof but so is the 1.5t, don’t sleep on it. At the end of the day it’s still a Honda engine that I know will last me well over 200k. Good luck with yours

      @@ZACH_95_ so what is the downside with the 1.5 turbo? I thought it was less reliable.
      Also, do you think it's possible to find a new 2022 ex lying around somewhere in a dealership which i could get for 25,000k or under? If i cant find a new one, would it be the same to find a used one under 5000 miles for 23,000k or under? Thank you

    I've heard the added "shifting" sensation is pointless in CVT's, and actually makes the car a bit slower than it would be otherwise. The only purpose is to feel "familiar" for those used to driving automatics.
    Is it true? idk🤔

    • @DMCarReviews
      @DMCarReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is! I don't like the shift feel. That totally takes away from the point of a CVT.

    The Vtec made a difference in the 2022 Civic Touring. Love the new interior design. Honda kept it all the same for 2023. It's the "Baby Accord". Oh! the Honda Civic is not a Big and Tall person car unless they like body restrictions.

    • @DMCarReviews

      The turbo makes the real difference. A tune would really make it a really quick car.

    Other drivers make ya crazy as they drive slow, fast and hitting their brakes. Changing lanes too often. Lot of people driving during dark hours as you should have test driven on a Saturday or Sunday morning 6am to 7am.

  • @garytryan
    @garytryan ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I've had my touring for 6 months. Before I bought it I watched a ton of reviews on the car, never saw anything about a tilted screen. So now I've been driving it for 6 months and never noticed any tilt. After watching your review I bring a. ruler out to my car to make sure I'm not crazy, and sure enough, there is no tilt to the passenger. It's perfectly placed.
    So either you reviewed a faulty car, or you're wrong. You can decide which one, but your review of the touring, regardless, is simply misleading. Which looks bad on you.

    • @DMCarReviews
      @DMCarReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Before pointing fingers and blaming me, in which way did you measure the angle of the tilt? For especially smart people, here is an image. The right side of the screen goes much deeper into the dashboard then the left side. This is called a tilt. It is not major, but it is immediately visible to anyone who gets inside.

    Should be focused on the road instead of worrying of which way the screen is tilted. That's how accidents happen.

      How was I not focused on the road? If I recall I discussed the screen before going on the drive.
