Hamilton is one heck of a city! Hope everyone is doing their best! Clearly our city needs less condos and more affordable housing, but that doesn't make rich people richer, unfortunately.
Honestly I was a part of this maybe about 14 years ago. The best thing you can possibly do is isolate yourself away from a lot of the bad people and surround yourself with better people. There’s people that don’t even want help or straight up choose to neglect it. They know where to go to get it.
This video made me cry. I was homeless in and out of shelters and on those streets of downtown Hamilton from 2014-2017 and honestly it's gotten way worse since then. Seeing this video reminded me how lucky I am to still be alive and how lucky I am to have escaped this life . I'm so grateful everyday for the things I have now and living through the things I've been through and seen with my own too eyes. It will never not be part of my story. Treat everyone u meet with respect and love because you never know what they are going through or have gone through 🥺🥲😓❤️💗
I'm going through a pretty difficult time right now and it always makes me feel better to hear about the people who are in the light between all the really dark tunnels of life.

Agreed. Surrounding yourself with people who make you want to be a better person is the fastest way off the street.
I know a lot of these people ... a lot of them were really good people and just hit hard times ... don't be judging
