    What a great wee video made all the better by the commentary and haunting music. I was there yesterday but had to go the “long way”as the ferry was off. Added 90 minutes each way. So glad I visited though. I’ll ever forget it. Such beauty and so remote.

    Remembering a funny story my dad told me about his army days in the 1950s.
    He was stationed in Devizes in Wiltshire, way down in southern England, for basic training.
    The troops were given travel passes, to give them enough time to get home & to return.
    Most of the English troops had 1 day passes & most of the Scots had 2 day passes, because obviously Scotland was further & in those days, travel could be difficult.
    But amongst the troops, there was a highlander, from Ardnamurchan. He was given a 3 day pass, so he could get home.

      This was our last holiday before the virus came. We were meant to go somewhere in April and June but that didn't happen. Oh well we will have to wait until September now.

    Nicely filmed as usual. Pity you weren't favoured by the weather gods but the area still looked stunning in any weather. Its somewhere I must explore. Great quality drone footage. Is it a Mavic you use?

      I'm now using the mavic mini, I sold my spark in favour of having the mini. That was its first flight. Yes Ardnamurchan is definitely worth a visit.

      @@BritishCoastline Really! I've just done the same. Sold my Spark and bought a Mavic Mini. The quality was really good which is encouraging!

    Thanks both for another epic vid and just wanted to say that a moments view of Sanna(du) reminds me of why I do the 100 days work to spend one day there. PS turns out I just swapped to a mavic mini too, may have some footage of Exmoor to share in a few weeks.

    P.s. although I didn't see Mrs coast do the up-thumb dance, i got a good belly laugh at the sight of her proudly walking along with her decorated branch👍👍

    • @BritishCoastline
      @BritishCoastline  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In which video does Mrs Coastline do the up-thumb dance? I would love to replicate this in future videos if it has such a high demand from the main fanbase ie you... Mrs Coastline does like to comb the beaches, we have many jars of sand, rocks, fossils, shells and drift wood.

    Wonderful video. Beautiful landscape and beautifully shot. Lifts my depression during this terrible lockdown. I've been to 45 countries but Scotland is still my favourite. BTW 'Tioram' means 'dry' in Gaelic.
