I discovered that using L’Oreal Lumi under Sephora Best Skin Ever literally rivals any of my higher-end stuff. It is now my every day go-to. I use the one you showed and I have a tinted pinkish one. Both work great.
Covergirl soft mink is my all time fav! It was a fav of my mothers and she’s been gone almost 9 years. I still use it several times a week because of her. ❤️🥰❤️

It really is. That’s my second favorite drugstore foundation! It lasts so well! Even in the summer on my oily skin. It gets dewy, but doesn’t break down at all. I love it!

Maybeline Sterling griege is my favorite, then nude glow and the glow down. I have extra just in case. Also the cover girl blush in true plum is great if you want that purple mauve color that was trendy awhile back, but it’s very wearable.

Jess is adorable, and she sounds about 12 years old, her voice was so much higher and thinner back then (not a bad thing, just a thing!) It's been a privilege and so fun to watch her (and Tyler) grow and mature before our eyes, get married, become parents, run successful businesses, and everything else! I just adore them -- it's a weird thing because they don't really know me, but we know them! (the parts they show online, of course). Jess has mentioned/mused about thinking about becoming a therapist someday, and she would be AMAZING at it (you would, Jessica!!!), but I'd miss the videos if they stopped them. :)

Drugstore makeup I use EVERY single day: Pixi peach corrector (for that dark area in the inner corner of eyes), No 7 Lift & Luminate Concealer, No 7 Lift & Luminate powder in light, to set the under eye, Elf Wow Brow for brows, CoverGirl Super Sizer Waterproof mascara (it's the only one that holds the curl in my lashes!).
I love the number 7 lift and luminate pressed powder it's my favorite powder ever I'm super picky , it's getting harder to find now . I haven't tried the concealer or the protect and perfect foundation yet I heard that was really good to.
My trick for lower lash line is that I use a clean spoolie to separate my lashes after mascara, then I use the small amount that's on the spookie to apply the lightest amount of mascara on lower lashes- and only one coat. Always the perfect, subtle amount. I think the full amount straight out of the tube is just too much and gives that Twiggy look!
I also blend a little of the Loreal Lumi into my sunscreen for a little glow and illumination in that. I use a very lightweight Asian sunscreen and the Lumi just gives it a little kick.
The Maybelline Nude glow, I wore on my wedding day! And i just bought a new one tonight after not being able to find it in store and i can't wait to use it again tomorrow!! 😄

Agree on the easy everyday eyeshadow and makeup. Still love playing with color and new palettes, but eyes look amazing when I just use a bronzer for the crease and a highlighter (I have the ofra quad pan and use the shade similar to the Maybellien one you tried today).
I 100% agree about the lower lash mascara application. It just doesn't look good on me. I see it on others and it looks fine, but it doesn't look good on me.

One time we bought a stationary workout bike, my oldest was reading the directions that said "helps with stamina", so she says "Mom what is staaaaameeeenaa?" LOL. Then my youngest loved eating Captain Crunch cereal but could not pronounce it and called it crap n crunch, I can't even! I took your advice and just bought that shadow today. Got home. Realize it’s almost identical to my CG eye enhancers in mink. If you have one you definetley don’t need the other one. FYI.

Nude Glow is one of my all time favorites! I love that you can use it year round, my second fav is one that you recommended Dusty Rose, I love it for spring/summer!
Those first two L'oréal products brought back so many memories to me! I bought both when I was a teenager. The Magic Perfecting Base was expensive for a drugstore product here in Ireland and I felt so bougie splurging on it lol I didn't even wear foundation back then so I have no idea why I thought I needed it in the first place. That mascara looks better than most mascaras you wear, full, long, not clumpy- exactly what most want in a mascara. Does it smudge though? I haven’t worn it in years, but recall absolutely loving it. When you look down, that’s when you can tell if a mascara is really good and your lashes look thick and long and gorgeous when you look down.

That lipstick colour is gorgeous on you! I have used so many tubes of Revlon lipstick over the years. It really is the best. My hg drugstore items are L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, Maybelline Tattoo Studio gel eyeliner in bold brown ( great in the waterline!) and Maybelline fit me blush in the colour nude.
Oh no girl the deep shade in the lumi glotion is amazing for a liquid bronzer. I use it in the summer to deepen my foundation. I would also say it's a dupe for the drunk elephant bronzer drops. Girl I get it. My landlord sold the house I was living in and the new owners want us out in 30 days. We luckily found a place pretty fast but it's just so over overwhelming. We weren't planning on moving anytime soon and all of a sudden having to pack up, up rooting my life that I was not planning on, on top of making this whole transition with my sick cat. on top of having to take time to get my taxes also. I have been in panic mode and all I want to do is to shut down and sleep for a month.

Full and Soft is def my lifetime most-purchased mascara. It’s so fluffy and separated, and you can usually find it in brown. My OG since the 90s!

I've been using Soft Mink blush for more years than I can even remember... Originally got it when Rite Aid had a "new makeup release" section!!!
The Full and Soft waterproof is my holy grail mascara! It just always looks so nice on my lashes. It gets better as it dries out.

Agree on the easy everyday eyeshadow and makeup. Still love playing with color and new palettes, but eyes look amazing when I just use a bronzer for the crease and a highlighter (I have the ofra quad pan and use the shade similar to the Maybellien one you tried today).
I 100% agree about the lower lash mascara application. It just doesn't look good on me. I see it on others and it looks fine, but it doesn't look good on me.

I love the cute things kids say, my daughters cracked me up so much, they still do! One time we bought a stationary workout bike, my oldest was reading the directions that said "helps with stamina", so she says "Mom what is staaaaameeeenaa?" LOL. Then my youngest loved eating Captain Crunch cereal but could not pronounce it and called it crap n crunch, I can't even! Great video, I'm enjoying Covergirl so much and Revlon with their classy, iconic lipsticks and blushes!

I took your advice and just bought that shadow today. Got home. Realize it’s almost identical to my CG eye enhancers in mink. If you have one you definetley don’t need the other one. FYI.
That blush has CT vibes. That lip color look so pretty on you, it's very unique. I think it would look even prettier with a lighter colored shirt on.

Those first two L'oréal products brought back so many memories to me! I bought both when I was a teenager. The Magic Perfecting Base was expensive for a drugstore product here in Ireland and I felt so bougie splurging on it lol I didn't even wear foundation back then so I have no idea why I thought I needed it in the first place. Ah to be young!
That mascara looks better than most mascaras you wear, full, long, not clumpy- exactly what most want in a mascara. Does it smudge though? I haven’t worn it in years, but recall absolutely loving it.
When you look down, that’s when you can tell if a mascara is really good and your lashes look thick and long and gorgeous when you look down.
Maybeline full and soft waterproof is super good too. Still soft unlike lots of waterproofs.
Also as the formula dries down it gets better.

My hg drugstore items are L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, Maybelline Tattoo Studio gel eyeliner in bold brown ( great in the waterline!) and Maybelline fit me blush in the colour nude.

Oh no girl the deep shade in the lumi glotion is amazing for a liquid bronzer. I use it in the summer to deepen my foundation. I would also say it's a dupe for the drunk elephant bronzer drops.
Girl I get it. My landlord sold the house I was living in and the new owners want us out in 30 days. We luckily found a place pretty fast but it's just so over overwhelming. We weren't planning on moving anytime soon and all of a sudden having to pack up, up rooting my life that I was not planning on, on top of making this whole transition with my sick cat. on top of having to take time to get my taxes also. I have been in panic mode and all I want to do is to shut down and sleep for a month.
