I have to disagree... If you mix a blue in with a very yellow-toned foundation, it'll turn it green, which is the opposite of the direction she wants to go for her more pink-toned skin. She'd be better off mixing in a little bit of liquid blush to up the pink/peach undertones.
She’s tried this in the past and it really does go green tinted. (I only know this because I have a playlist if her old videos for when I get ready in the morning and she was talking about the blue and white la girl foundation mixers)
If that worked for you, that is great & you're so nice to share. ☺️ However, I do disagree that blue would neutralize yellow. Typically, it would need to be more of a purple than blue for yellow correction. I have the L.A. girl blue, it's more of just a straight blue. BUT...I saw a lavender corrector from L. A. girl in the dollar tree store for $1.25. That could be helpful with yellow. Hope you have a great day. 😎🥂

Loveee the cream blushes! Not very big on high-end products, but those look lovely. Also hoping one day you'll do an updated perfume collection also of perfumes you've always wanted to buy but didn't! We have similar likes in perfumes and would love more recommendations.

I can be difficult to let comments go. Particularly when someone is being relentless and well, just rude. Jealousy and insecurity are usually the culprit unfortunately. Mom’s old school advice; if you don’t have anything nice to say… Don’t say anything at all I really wish everyone would adopt this practice.
I think the product that you’ll wear for spring and summer is the covergirl palette. I think the one in dreamy pink is a dupe for the CT pillow talk palette. Please compare them!!!
Excited about the matte C.T. Blushes I have the glow Pinkham one and hated it at first then changed my foundation to a soft matte one and wow it’s so pretty 😍
I’ll really be interested to see how you end up liking the Bliss product. I looked over the ingredient list and found it interesting / odd that glycerin is so far down the list. Usually glycerin is quite high in most moisturizing products.
If you are super dry in certain areas, try Nivea's blue tin in those spots, a liiiiitle dot'll do it. I have been using this since I was 3 years old (mom, by recommendation of our internist). I am 50. Yes that's a recent (no make-up) picture.
Those swatches of the eyeshadow palette look so similar to the Pillowtalk quad from Charlotte Tilbury. I would definitely like to see them swatched side by side.
That green color looks awesome on you! I think the pink pop was the better choice. You are lucky having such a pretty shade in your lips, so the clear one looked good on you, but I did like the first one better. 😊
had to mention this, I was "talking" to my bff here Jessi and hubs back in the bedroom with his headphones on says are you talking to me baby? Lord, this is how comfortable I am with you just sitting across from me we are just chit chatting away....I mayyyyyyy need a keeper here before long 🤣
about the barrier boosting skincare :D you might like a light serum like purito centella buffet serum, tiam b3 toner, RNW ceramide (a bit of a richer serum) + or another barrier supportive serum. Serums tend to be light weight and then you can get on to sunscreen faster. There also exists some mist with barrier supportive ingredients like the la roche possay cicaplast mist/spray if you want to speed things up as much as possible but they obviously don't provide as much moisture as a cream (i would go with a spray for when you are in a rush and a cream/gel/serum when you have more time). Also when you barrier is compromised cutting down on anything that exfoliates or in other ways helps new layers of skin resurface faster (depending on how sensitive you are cutting out fragrances for a while could also help). For more longterm things consider slowly introducing actives and using a cleanser that is as mild as possible (meaning you get makeup etc. off but you get no squeaky clean feel after - typically low ph and overall cleansers that don't foam up and are targetting dryer skin types are gentler). Ps i have personly only tried the purito serum and tiam b3 toner but the RNW is super popular and i think the la roshe possay could be a quick fast alternative for when in a rush. (I personaly now try to go for products that do multible things and most products i use tend to also be barrier boosting but i think that depends on preference, needs and whether you like layering or not.)

I have used a dab of Gold Bond excema along with Cerave daily lotion. Has really helped with my dry spots. Heard of Cetaphil restoraderm Flare Up relief too I want to check out. I dont have excema but these are really hydrating for us with mid western winter dry skin!

That perfume is my signature fragrance!! My husband bought it for me two Christmases ago and I get a lot of compliments from people all the time. It adapts to your body chemistry and is ever so slightly on each person. Glad you love it!!👏👏👏
I had a chicken pox (I think) scar on my chest, and my son loved to play with it as he nursed. Now it's a raised bump, that is actually kind of comforting because I think about what a wonderful time that was. How's that for weird?

If it's too yellow toned get you some LA girl Blue foundation correction , add a little to foundation and mix will neutralize the yellow

This works if you're a light olive like myself. I do this all the time. But to truly neutralize yellow, you would have to mix in purple.

Jess you should do your eyeshadow after you powder your under eyes! It helps SO much with brushing off any fall out! Try it out!
