I have sunken and hooded eyes. They’re becoming more and more hooded. And they’re sunken under the eyes as well. I’d love to have a video like that too

If we all could have a Gabby do our hooded eyes, that would be absolutely AMAZING. I really never wore too much makeup when I didn't have hooded eyes and found watching these wonderful TH-cam creators I wanted to wear makeup!!! I wish I did makeup when I didn't have hooded eyes! When you're younger, unfortunately, you don't think about what happens to all your skin as you age because we don't know until we actually wake up one day and your face and body have started changing 😢... I still keep trying, and some days are just better than others! Some days are just eyebrows, eyelashes, and lipstick! This was a very good explanation of this process. I feel many people doing demos on hooded eyes, don't even actually have hooded eyes. I have eyelids that lay right on my lashes so this was a great demo.

WOW! This simply came up on my feed..and that transformation was absolutely AMAZING! She became so gorgeous! I have a lot of eyelid space, so this type of problem is something I don’t have, but I would use this technique on my eyes anyway! Pure genius!🌟

Great tutorial Gabi. Jill’s eyes look so much bigger and she’s really rockin those glasses. What a stunning woman. On a side note, cuz I really noticed the transformation, what did you use on her neck? ❤❤❤
So I used a hydrating serum on her neck first and then a super rich moisturizer. I let that sink in for ten minutes. Then I carried the foundation all the way down to the décolleté and set it with a blurring translucent powder. In the studio lighting with the softbox, that’s enough to completely soften the look of lines. It’s less effective in real life if I’m being completely honest though. Her neckline (in her blouse) is also higher in the after image.

I felt like I could do this and your instruction was so personal and clear and the style of you explaining in the corner with the close up visual application did it for me. I just finished my third tube of the City Beauty LidLifting Treatment on my hooded eyes and I experienced not one single change or difference. I had 4 tubes all together but I won’t be using that fourth tube and waste my time. The sad part is all the money I’m out.
I'm 61, and the only technique that doesn't work for me is shadow under the eye. I end up looking like a raccoon toward the end of the day, even if I set it with powder. Otherwise, great techniques here!

This is the best video I’ve seen. Jill’s eyes closely resemble my own. Because of my hooded eyes I don’t tend to wear much make up. I am very blessed to have great eyelashes. This vid has given me some confidence to go away and practice these techniques 😊

I LOVE my hooded eyes...and don't want to add anything to change or disguise them. However, I do recognize that aging (I am an older woman myself) can cause the hooded area to fall over the eye and even weigh it down. Many years ago my great aunt had some of the eye skin removed (not for cosmetic reasons but due to the skin sagging over her eye making it difficult to keep her eyes open).

I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed it!!! When I was editing, I realized that my model kept going in and out of focus because in the close ups, my hands kept grabbing the focus. It's so hard for me sometimes because I am a makeup artist and NOT AT ALL a videographer but I did my best. Comments like these are so encouraging. Being a “ hoodie” I really appreciated the way you showed us how to get a really polished, open eye look! I just had a blepharoplasty 2 months ago, but at 79 my eyes are small and still droop a bit. Would really appreciate tips on what to do to help erase small bags under my eyes. I’ve tried many concealers, color correctors in all shades, etc. but they get stuck in small lines and don’t do much to hide my bags. Get the Makeup by Mario master mattes palettes. It truly is the perfect palette of matte neutrals. He has a warm palette and a cool palette.

I just finished my third tube of the City Beauty LidLifting Treatment on my hooded eyes and I experienced not one single change or difference. I had 4 tubes all together but I won’t be using that fourth tube and waste my time. The sad part is all the money I’m out.

I'm 61, and the only technique that doesn't work for me is shadow under the eye. I end up looking like a raccoon toward the end of the day, even if I set it with powder. Otherwise, great techniques here!

HOORAY!!! The video I have been searching for!! I have the very same hooded eyes that your lovely friend Jill has and couldn't find anyone doing a tutorial for REALLY hooded eyes and then Jill is a model who wears glasses so that is another reason to LIKE this post. I feel like my eye makeup looks pretty good before I put on my glasses and then it immediately disappears once I have my glasses on. (No choice for contacts unfortunately!)

When I work on models who wear glasses, sometimes we will do a check part way through. We put on the glasses and adjust the eye makeup if necessary.

This is the best video I’ve seen. Jill’s eyes closely resemble my own. Because of my hooded eyes I don’t tend to wear much make up. I am very blessed to have great eyelashes. This vid has given me some confidence to go away and practice these techniques 😊

I LOVE my hooded eyes...and don't want to add anything to change or disguise them. However, I do recognize that aging (I am an older woman myself) can cause the hooded area to fall over the eye and even weigh it down. Many years ago my great aunt had some of the eye skin removed (not for cosmetic reasons but due to the skin sagging over her eye making it difficult to keep her eyes open).

I just had a blepharoplasty 2 months ago, but at 79 my eyes are small and still droop a bit.
Would really appreciate tips on what to do to help erase small bags under my eyes. I’ve tried many concealers, color correctors in all shades, etc. but they get stuck in small lines and don’t do much to hide my bags.
