In this video, we take the Raptor R for a drive, discuss initial driving and ownership impressions just a few days post-delivery, and provide a detailed walk-around highlighting some of the main features of this fully refreshed Raptor. This Raptor R is one of very few customer trucks delivered to market as of the date of filming.

That is the best raptor ive seen yet! I had a 2010 with a 5.4 when they first came out man these trucks have came along way only unfortunate is the price. I paid 54,900 plus tax in Canada 😊.

I have a 2019 F150 Supercab 2019 Raptor is it worth to upgrade to the 2024 Raptor R, and is the super crew much more gigantic ?, as i have never driven a supercrew

Nice man I got my wife a 24 f150 raptor 35 pack . It drives beautiful yours is a different monster! I still like my diesel trucks better, though I have a 23 f450 king ranch.

Love my 17 Raptor supercab, my first ecoboost. Have loved my v-8 fords in the past also. Would love a Raptor R. But I'm paying my house off, than I will get a mustang with a v-8 and supercharge it. Just for fun kinda car.

I know that you said you were first in line for the 2024, but how long was the wait from the moment you placed the order for your build to delivery ?
I ordered the truck back in mid-September. Delivered to dealer on March 19.

I think the standard Raptor is plenty of truck without the V8. For most folks, they will not be desert running and street racing the truck! Having the V8 is nice but it sucks a lot ofmgas depending on how heavy you step on it! I think it is not necessary for the premium you pay! You want a fast vehicle, get a supercar!
90% of use cases totally agree. Loved my gen 2 with the 3.5. Was just missing that growl!
A 2.7l xl trim is plenty of truck for most. In fact, it's got a bigger payload so it's more "truck" in that regard. But its certainly not as pretty nor sound as amazing!
They didn't have this color when I ordered mine last year!!!!

How many mpg do you get? I heard people get under 13?
It’s not great. Grannying it mostly thru break-in with moderate aceelerations have the average hovering just over 11.
@p_kf wow who would ever buy a truck with 10 miles per gallon, thats insane. Why not just get a f150 tremor or lariat with v8 and get double the mpg?
The paddle shifters are actually plastic they are plated to feel like aluminum

Great question, realized that I did not cover it. Crystal clear and customizable. Not over the top or in your face. Find it very useful, particularly the lane keep warning indicator on narrow roads.

How much is insurance for a 100k truck?
Mine is $89 per month for full coverage, $0 deductible.

Super cool truck, a supercharged V8 that pushes 720 HP in a truck thats marketed with catchphrases like Baja, what's not to love.

I mean the Raptor R is a cool car, but it's no 288 GTO. Don't misunderstand me.
I totally understand the context of ADMs, high end products with supply & demand whatwith Ferrari, Porsche, Hermes, AP, Rolex et al
But if you really take a step back and think about it, us consumers are the reasons why these companies continue these disgusting tactics. They get away with it because people keep buying it.
Just don't play the game, it's a pickup truck at the end of the day. Yes a cool one with a snarling V8 in it, but a still a pickup truck nonetheless
Agree with all of those sentiments. Just appreciate the ability to deal with a straightforward and honest dealer. For many of the reasons you stated, the market has become saturated with shortsightedness and greed on the part of both buyer and seller. Unfortunately it has had the effect of creating a large barrier to entry, and frustration for those that just want to order and enjoy the truck. Same thing of course goes for AP, Rolex etc., copy and paste. Happily, I personally don’t play the games and just foster the relationships and enjoy the things as intended as they come. Far more important things in life anyway. PKF
