This is literally the only video on this. I have a 6in pro comp lift and am wanting to drop it to 4in. Do you know if this would still work even though you’re running an RC?
I know it’s been a year but I figured I’d ask what do you need to do that I have a 2019 f150 with a 4 inch lift from rc if I wanted to go 6 inch just buy the 6 inch shocks and rear blocks? Would I need new knuckles
No need to change the knuckles with your RC 4 inch lift kit. All you have to do is add the 6” shocks and the rear blocks for 6 inch kit and then you’ll achieve the total 6 inch lift that you need.
It would be great if you had the part numbers listed.. I told stage3 that you gave them a shout out… lol but they had no idea what parts I would need..😔😔
@@jttinsleyjoey I don’t think it will be possible since your lift has those drop brackets for the front diff and all, now from what I’ve seen with BDS lifts is that they don’t cut the crossmember bracket so you will just need to remove all drop brackets and install a stock crossmember and the 2.5” lifted struts. But if you just install them like that the angles will be way off and the struts might actually be too short.
@@Thaghossstt187 Theres a way but I would not recommend you will need a good welder to reweld the piece of metal where that front crossmember is bolted to. The old crossmember was bolted there but it had to be cut out so that new RC crossmember could fit, ai haven’t seen anybody do this though I’ve heard you can but would recommend best bet is to just drop it to the 4” thats as low as it can go bc of all the drop mount brackets that are on there now.
@@zachfinn6486 Your gonna have to get the 4” shocks bc the stock ones are a bit shorter and if you leave them on after just taking the RC spacers your control arm will have a high angle. The reason being if you go with a 4” rough country lift from there website they also include the RC spacers therefore meaning the stock shocks wont work you will need the 4” shocks or the 4” RC spacer
@@RigoG09 I did some more research into it, and I would also have to swap the rear shocks. The shocks are sized for the 6” lift. My next concern would be the blocks under the airbags
@@RyanRacing729 Yes if you have the shocks for a 6” then yes those will have to be replaced as well, the shocks under the airbag if you have the stock ones they will work as well but I think you have the 5” ones if your truck is lifted at 6”. But just swap to the OEM ones and you should be fine.
Yes you could use it also, although if you don’t have a 6” lift already with the new crossmembers you could just get the 3” coils and new uppers to correct the angle.
@@JasonWood-vj2rk In that case then I believe that 3” kit will make your upper control arm higher than normal since most of the front suspension is already dropped with those drop brackets that come on the 6” lift.

@@BuckRaeder yes sir this should still work with the pro comp lift as well.
Nice work I was going to do the same thing you did just four-inch lift to a 6 inch doing everything you did a reverse.
Thank you, yes its pretty simple I know some people buy a whole new kit and this is the best option.

Looks good!
Thank you
I spoke with RC and they said with the 4” blocks I would need the original blocks that came with my truck… does that seem right

Yes you can use the original blocks, but it would sit a bit lower the 3” blocks would be a better height.
Im trying to go from 4" bds to 2.5 or so. Is that possible by just replacing struts and blocks? I can't find any info on this. Thanks

Is it possible to get a LOBO F150 in the states? That's badass. I've always wanted one. I just have a XLT f150
I believe its possible, I had an XLT as well but I changed the badge on this truck to LOBO. I say I had bc I sold this truck over a yr ago.
@@RigoG09 where can I get a LOBO badge?
@@alejandrorodriguez3239 I ordered mine off Amazon, and I just repainted it
I got the same 6” RC lift on my 14 f150.. is there anyway I can drop it down to stock height or 2 or 3 inch lift. Deff don’t want it this high anymore

How’s those n3 struts ride? Debating going zone 4 inch with bilstein or RC witch M1 struts
They ride pretty good, but the bilstein would be great also I had those as well rode pretty good too.
Send me some pictures of the wheels you have on now please
I sold the truck about a year ago, I don’t have pictures
I have a 6 inch with bags in the back. Am I able to just swap out the rear blocks to lower it?

hello where can i buy this steering knuckle assembly?
I bought the kit from the rough country website.
What upper control did you replace with? Factory?
Yes I replaced with new factory they had a better angle than the camburg ones.
Great thanks for info glad to find this video!

It does not look lower it looks the same to me
Do u have wheel spacers
Yes im running 2” spacers from rough country
What headlights are those ?
These are the alfarex nova series lights
