I just back today from Dominican Republic, Santa Domingo vacation, I stayed in Zona Colonial area it was such a joy, Your video was so nice, it was fun to see the streets that I walked.
I love Santo Domingo. I born in a small countryside in the southwest of the Dominican Republic, in the border with Haiti and all my life I dreamed to live in a city. I love Santo Domingo, from Monday to Sunday I can do everything that I want.
People from dominican always find a reason to complain I'm dominican and I'm not gonna lie that's something about my culture I'm not proud of you don't know what you got till a tsunami floods the whole island and you don't got nothing.
Great video and as a native New Yorker of Dominican descent, I always like to say I was born and raised in New York, but I also was raised down there. We would go there all the time to see family and I did live there for a time later on as well, now live in Miami and I will be living there again soon. My only complaint is they don't use steel drums down there, maybe a bachata or a slow merengue in the background would have been better, besides that great video.
Nice to see a far away country from my country, Indonesia. Since this is an “Island Hopper TV”, it must be fun for you to hoppin from one island to another island within 17,000 island we have here in Indonesia. Waiting for you in Indonesia✌️
@@champbrite1375 It was an incredible stay! The cost of living is cheap there, I took full advantage of it (I live in France). No need to rent a car, Ubers are cheap, same for the bus prices to go to Punta Cana.

It is safe, I’ve walked around those areas late at night numerous times and I’ve been fine, just stay away from the sketchy neighborhoods in the outskirts of the city like he said and you’ll be fine
My mom is Dominican and she doesnt't like Christopher Columbus and tells me that most Dominicans aren't fond of him so it's surprising to see such landmarks named in his honor.

That’s a freaking problem fool. 25 bucks for a shirt when u can get it for 15 or 10 I rather pay them the 10 and maybe give them a voluntarily tip ( up to u)
