Klein should still have the multitasker tool which is special version of the American made Utica multimaster, but it's way too expensive when the standard tool is around $30.
Hello again Doc Thank you for another Great Video. One of things I would wish Leatherman would do is to make the multi-tool lighter. Carrying out on your belt is a workout. Otherwise, I agree with your assessment. Again thank you
I was a beta tester of it and all 3 pairs I got from Klein broke twisting 3 #12 solids I wish the heat treat was better or they would use higher quality steel. Cause it would be super useful for a small edc as an electrician
Often it's not the actual steel composition but the heat treating. Some companies have great success with run of the mill steels like 440 and 420, but have mastered the heat treatment. Other companies have messed up the use of super steels due to bad heat treatment. The knife in the Klein multitool is 440c steel which is fine for blades, but not the best for pliers. Where did the break occur in your tool?
@@burnedupsparkytipsandrevie9597 he probably from Jamaica, you ever see the power lines there? Bro I was driving by a nasty pond and all the power lines were straight up in a massive 2ft ball like 3 ft above the water, it was insane
As a licensed electrician that has been in the trade for a long time …Klein has gone to crap. The quality is junk now, and everything is basically made in China.
100% agreed. I'm an electrician and i was excited to carry just this tool when pulling wire but those handles were wildly uncomfortable.
absolutely agree. Worst handle design ive had in a multitool
We’re the pliers forged ? Cast isn’t too hot for hard use tools ! The Hybrid is my default lineman’s plier ! One of there best efforts ever !

@@lastbesttool all three right at the joint by the cutters kinda a bit below the middle of the cutters
too bad.....those pliers look awesome.
Klein as a company discontinued a TON of tools.
They recently banned use of multi-tool/Leathermen in my trade. Too many accidental shock incidents
Very interesting. Thanks for that info.
Who's working hot with a Leatherman?
