Hey everyone! In this video Jamilah and Marcel sit down and discuss some pre-marital counseling questions in order to prepare for a successful marriage. In order to assure a healthy marriage we decide to participate in pre-marriage counseling questions before we get married. Topics we chose to focus on in this video: background, marriage goals, responsibilities, finances, faith/religion and children. These topics we chose to talk about first as these are the foundational areas of not only marriage but relationships period.
In these pre-marital counseling questions Jamilah and Marcel discuss their ideas and their feeling towards certain topics in order to fully understand one another. Counseling is very important for establishing communication and understanding of one another on topics taken for granted. Do you want to have kids? Who is responsible for the finances of the house? How important is religion in your life?

It is a good one of a kind guide for discovering how to mend your marriage minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my partner got excellent success with it.

You are sweet and it's so lovely to see young couples being enthusiastic about marriage. However, we older guys that have been around longer than you would propel all soon-to-be married couples to cover the most important issues such as: risk managements, finances, and exit strategy.

@@qukumber yup. If things go wrong how you're gonna deal with assets, children, support etc. Just talking about will reveal many aspects you didn't know about one another. Why are you so appalled by me mentioning exit strategy?! Look at the divorce rates and gender battlefield - it's been REAL!!! Anyone not taking divorce seriously is foolish.

My fiancé and i are getting married in June. We are living together and it made me so nervous when my pastor brought this topic up. I understand in the bible it says you should not live together before marriage but financially it was a smart decision
Yes, we were hesitant at first but we decided it was the best decision for us! We have no regrets! & You guys won’t either!!

It comes down to obeying God, because he wants to protect us from the damaging effects of fornication and lust to name a few. It comes down to whether you lean on God's or your own understanding.
I guess your pastor will provide comfort to your husband when he gets divorce raped in 5-8 years from now. Water tight prenup, 50-50 custody arrangement, no spousal support, no child support and everyone leaves with what they brought in. While living together you keep the separate accounts and you stipulate in the prenup that all earnings stay separate. If she decides to be stay home mom you decide what happens in that case.

Why is criminal recor a problem?
Just a personal preference. No judgement!
Because criminal behavior is a way of thinking often..as opposed to a onetime event and the person had alot of remorse. Made real amends etc
You are ALREADY married if you are living together. What else is there to discover?
I learn more about Jamilah, myself, and our marriage everyday. Everyday our marriage grows, and with growth requires learning. At least in our marriage.

Mark 16:15-16

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus Christ created only one church. And that is HIS church which is the (church of Christ.) (Not a (man made) church like: catholic, baptist, Muslim, Pentecostal, etc...) but His church is the only one you can read about in the Bible.
And the members of the Lords church are called Christians.

In order to become a child of God, we must all obey the gospel; which is the plan of salvation.
The plan of salvation:
Hear: Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Believe: Mark:16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
(After you’ve herd the gospel, do you believe it?)
Repent: Luke 13:3

(If you believe, are you ready? to repent, (turn away) from the sinful ways of living?)
Confess: Matthew 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also

(After you’ve repented, do you confess that Jesus is the Son of God; the one who died for your sins?)
Be Baptized: Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
(After you’ve confessed you are ready to put on Christ in baptism being submerged in the water.)
[And then we all must live faithful unto death]
Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
(Live a life striving to be like Christ, even though we as children fall constantly, keep your robes clean, by living a life of repentance not willingly sinning but, repentance is a gift from God to get it right when we do fall short because no one is perfect.)
