    I would suggest to not invest in a new camera, the quality is good enough as it is, go for a Airbrush etc first instead. :)

    • @BardsCraft
      @BardsCraft  4 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      I agree partially. The video looks full HD on small displays, but even on my 21" screen I see that it's low-mid quality video.
      Anyway I dropped my camera (from like 10 cm) and it broke right after the video. Now I'll have to get a new one.

      Namehack I would think that getting an airbrush would fly in the face of what his channel has been all about: cheap and easy supplies and techniques that turn into great looking crafts. A lot of people can’t afford or just don’t want to hassle with the airbrushes, fancy electric foam cutters, designers paints, etc., so I’d think it would change the whole feel of the channel.

    Other youtuber -> When crafting a complex project you should always make a plan first and then perhaps adapt.
    Bard -> Ok!
    Also bard -> Throws plan in garbage... Does 100x more than previously planned without even breaking a sweat.
    Also again Bard -> **Whispers Goodbye* xD
    Came for the skill. Stayed for the humor. You'r amazing. ^-^

    superglue can help You with the wobbly stone,
    just use the CHEAPEST superglue (the runny one) A tiny drop on the chain link connections and you are done, no more wobbly rocks ;)
    Great vid btw ;)

    • @brokenwave6125
      @brokenwave6125 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      CA glue, even the expensive ones, come in different viscosity.
      Some of the dollar store super glue is thick.
      And some expensive woodworking super glue is very thin.
      Just depends.
      Has nothing to do with price though.

    That was really nice work, found your channel and subscribed. I like the fact that you do everything from a more realistic cost effective perspective using tree bark, baking soda for texture, hemp rope, etc. The stone color worked out nicely, should have glossed it a bit to make it more shiny. Awesome work though wish it was sitting on my desk.

    Interesting choice, but you might have gone with six stones- each pair linked by a cross stone from which chain links to the suspended big blue rock. That way its circular without curved stones.

    It's also possible to make crystals out of salt, sugar or alaun. You can also shape a crystal out of soap base. But all these methods need a transparent covering to protect it from moisture. Most women have clear NailPaint, which can be used for this purpose. Another method is to shape the stick of a glue pistole into crystals and give them a very hot waterbath(it makes them pretty transparent). It looks epic if you color the bottom of this "crystals" and put a group of them on a light. You could also make many small crystals this way to decorate a magical setting.

    the trick is to go towards the color thats on your brush. if you have purple on your brush. your brush should be moving in the direction of the predominantly purple region. when you apply the lighter color your brush should be pulling in the opposit direction. this makes the transitions look great while wet blending

  • @donkalzone6671
    @donkalzone6671 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Could you try to use some glitter for a magic stone. I think covering it with white. And after the color is dry, it could get a rough drybrush with some glue before sprikle some glitter on it. Than maybe coating it again with glue so that the glitter is still visible but protected.
