  • Getting introduced to new Pokemon is one of the most fun parts about the Pokemon games, but sometimes, new Pokemon aren't even from the regions that they debut in! In this video, we will be covering every Pokemon that isn't from the region where it debuted, with some being from other regions we have seen, and some being from regions we have never seen before!

Kubfu coming from the Hisui region makes sense as the two scrolls used to evolve it in sword and shield are very similar to the scrolls used in Pokémon legends for strong and agile scroll mechanic, each mirroring the two styles of Urshifu

Wow, You’re right! And the two different styles even correlate with the two different Urshifu forms, with single and rapid strike. Maybe in Legends you’ll have an Kubfu that evolves depending on what style it is

    • @Galarrobert
      @Galarrobert 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

@@SeantheSharkGuy I was thinking that Kubfu might evolve based on how many times a style is used with it, like you have to use 50 strong or agile style moves for example, then level up. Just based on how you do it on sword and shield, training at the towers the only difference is you’re carrying the scrolls in a smaller form possibly? So may take more ‘training’ with the style you want

Happy to boost you in the algorithm with a Pokemon you missed: Togepi. :) Togepi is specifically stated by Professor Elm to not be from Johto when he examines Togepi's egg. I'm surprised so many people miss this one, given how popular it is, but to be fair, it's stated in game dialogue, not in a Pokedex entry. My personal fan theory is that Togepi's home region is Sinnoh, since that's where we first see Togekiss and it's the first region where you can find it in the wild, though you do need to use the Poke Radar. But in canon, its home region remains unconfirmed.

Pokemon concepts I would like to someone use. Game Freak has made Pokemon based on pollution. Muk and Grimer for water, Koffing and Wheezing for air, Trubbish and Garbartor for land.
Yet theirs still two potential pollutions. Light and Sound pollution. They're not as series as land, air and sea but they do have their own impacts.
Think it would be interesting if a moth pokemon was made to represent Light pollution since it's probably thrown off their migration.
Sound or noise has lots of potential. Maybe a tree pokemon meant to damper or lessen noise pollution.

Meaning that if we were to get a Pokémon game set in a region based on Scandinavia or one of the countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway), then the Meowths there would be ‘Galarian’ because they aren’t Actually Galarian but Scandinavian, same with Perrserker as said.

Starters are either endangered species or from a different region.
Most pokemon preserves and safari zones are the same theme, but probably the reverse of starters. I have a theory that the kanto war killed most species, and that every safari zone mon are from somewhere else.
Pokemon that evolve with ancient power in sinnoh were hisuian pokemon. if a pokemon gets a pre evolution in a later gen means they are originally from there, and migrated to the prior region. Naturally, or by human means. Later evolutions is normally the opposite.

I figured this would include Pokémon that weren't found in the wild in the region in which they debuted. A bunch of Safari Zone Pokémon or Pokémon found exclusively by in-game trade, for instance.
Jynx was an in-game trade while Kangaskhan, Scyther, Pinsir, Tauros, and Dratini were Safari Zone or Game Corner Pokémon, all first truly found wild in Johto. Conversely, Houndour, Slugma, and Murkrow weren't found wild in Johto, but in Kanto instead.
Skorupi and Carnivine were only found in the Great Marsh in Sinnoh, not truly wild until gen V, though the Great Marsh does seem to be a somewhat more natural area than the classic Safari Zone.
And this is just speculation, but it seems like Rotom probably isn't from Sinnoh, given that it was one-of-a-kind there, and treated in a way that some thought it was legendary, but as time has gone on they've become more and more common, to the point that just about everyone has one on their person at all times in Galar.

One extra neat aspect about Copperajah is that one of Raichu's old dex entries says a single strike can knock out an Indian elephant and then in Legends Arceus Laventon says it could knock out one of the Copperajah from his homeland. He's probably referring to galar in that entry but it still has a connection to that entry

Aren't the Kanto starters from Kalos? That's the only place you can find them in the wild. (Alola too?) Plus them having big forms already means they had to have been there for the war 3000 years ago. Charizard being a European dragon, Venusaur being a Pareiasaur also a European dinosaur, idk on Blastoise. But they have Mega and Giantamax forms meaning they had to be in a European region such as kalos or Galar for at least 3000 years. While unable to be found in the wild of Kanto.

I have the theory that Meltan originally comes from Unova. Since it has a lot of ancient ruins and some of them are under the sea, like the boxes where Meltan are supposedly found.
There´s also a contradiction with Klink´s pokedex entries that could be explained with Meltan being originally from Unova.
It´s stated Klink was a pokemon discovered just 100 years ago but there´s also pokedex entries that states that It´s suspected that Klink were the inspiration behind ancient people's invention of the first gears. This contradiction could be solved if people are confusing Meltan with Klink. Since they both look like some kind of gear.

Pure speculation from me. Mudbray and Mudsdale could be from a different region. Horses, from what I found during research, aren't native to Hawaii, the place that Alola is based on. Horses most likely aren't native to Japan and the UK. So are Mudsdale, Ponyta and Rapidash from a region we haven't seen? The same is most likely true for Mudbray as well.

To be fair with Meltan being from our world, we already have plenty of canon dimension traveling in the Pokemon World plus in every game we have the Gamefreak office literally breaking the 4th wall saying they created parts of the game world so Meltan being from the real world isn't that far out there.
The Space Pokemon are worth more than an honorable mention. Those Pokemon aren't from the region people attributed from and they bring up very interesting questions.
If there are Pokemon in space are there also more humans on other planets? Do some Pokemon that exist on the current planet also exist in space somewhere because they just happened to evolve the same?
Also, Ultra Beasts aren't from "space" they are from Ultra Space which is basically a portal dimension that connects to other dimensions.
