    Gothitelle actually fits really well with Britain! while Lolita is a japanese subculture, the style is inspired specifically by Victorian English fashion (as well as Rococo fashion.) It pulls from the victorian era's focus on modesty and return to more classical silhouettes after the late Georgian era.

    • @TheSwordsman100
      @TheSwordsman100 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      For the question of Arceus and Mew being responsible for the creation/existence of humans that would be a yes. As shown by later lore and DYKG?'s original pokedex vids, humans and pokemon have always existed with each other in canon. The theory that humans came from somewhere else is just that a highly unlikely fan theory. As for the space pokemon there is explanations for a few of them.
      Clerairy line: Came from the Moon, which is connected to Earth.
      Deoxys: Before becoming a actual pokemon through mutation due to mankind, apparently it was known as a virus.
      For the rest of the space Pokemon, unlike other Crystal Dragon Jesuses is never really implied or stated that Arceus stopped with Earth. Heck in HGSS he recreates all of reality, just so you can have another Dialga/Palkia/Giratina.

    @Lockstin & Gnoggin the Bisharp line also fits into the "stuff british have" category because of their being based on chess pieces. While the game that would become chess was invented in India sometime during the 8th century, it was heavily modified by the English (after it got to England via the silk road and crusades) so that the board and pieces resembled the classic components of the English Royal Court (and given the name of chess), which is the version we recognize today.

    12:17 There's even an entire short of this, the Warm and Cozy Slugma House. It's on the Japanese PokemonKids channel (English sub) and it's all about how Pokemon help keep a house in order. Given the protagonist's name in Japanese is Anna and the fact she wears a Sizzilpedde scarf leads me to believe that it's set in Galar. The grandparents are former trainers, hence their freaking Haxoros and Unovan Daramaka.
    I wonder if you can make a video like this for other generations (gen 5 on). Gen 8 is only exceptional for not letting transferred Pokemon that aren't endemic to the region in. There's always been a dex of Pokemon avaible in the games complied from new and old Pokemon

Charizard is the Main Pokémon of Leon, the Champion of Galar and his rival is Raihan, the Dragon Type Gym Leader of Galar. His main Pokémon is Duraludon, a mecha kaiju and a WHITE DRAGON and Leon, his rival, have RED DRAGON. White Dragon Vs Red Dragon. Reasons for some pokemon being in Galar you might consider?
    Turtonator - minesweeper's both on land and on sea were primarily created and used by the British.
    Gothitelle - Gothic Lolita was a British thing due to Queen Victoria making Black a fashionable colour to wear (while in mourning she technically also made it the colour for mourning)
    Bisharp - modern chess is heavily linked to Britain. An English man set up the first modern chess tournament and its also heavily linked to the Crusades like Richard the Lionheart.
    Mincinno - British are seen a clean freaks and Mincinno is obsessed with dusting.
    Drifloon - 80 DAYS AROUND THE WORLD

    I personally call BS on the whole counterparts thing. Whimsicott was in the game from the very beginning but it wasn't until the DLC came out that we got its counterpart Lilligant added to the roster.
    Same thing goes for Shiinotic being in the base game, but not Lurantis. And sure you could argue it's Alolan forms not being the main focus of the roster but Vulpix and Ninetales were still in the base game and thier alolan forms were counterparts to Sandshrew and Sandslash. All of these Pokemon that I'm listing were only made available in the roster once the DLC hit.

It stinks because Skiddo is so cute and Gogoat is a noble, kind-hearted creature with a pretty high base stat total (531) and enough coverage to benefit itself against all the types that would cause it trouble.
