First time watching the host interview. Suggestion: practice asking questions. You ask a question and then go on and on and it’s not great. Build up your question with the color you’re trying to paint, then ask the question and shut up. Some friendly unwarranted advice.
I like Shuli more outside of the show than on the show. It might actually add more perspective to him on the show and ground him as a worker trying to get his share and move up. Hmm. Good interview.
Omg, i recorded every stern show from 2004 till 2017 (couldnt listen at work anymore) but honstly by 2016 he jumped the shark, kissing Rosies ass, firing Howard TV, Bobo calls... just so boring and repetative. Don’t want to hear from anyone after they leave the show. There’s a reason they’re never heard from again unless it’s Artie who was established prior.
Honestly they could re-create the Stern show without stern and make a boatload more money than whatever Stern was paying them. These days fans really do support things they enjoy and if you had even 100,000 people giving five bucks a month you could pay every one of these peoples salaries
@@anduin1 yeah cause it is so easy to simply get “100,000” ppl to consistently pay u $5 a month. Plus u have no idea the production that goes into these shows. Sure it would be fun to have the oldies from the show gather but after 1-2 shows of that u have to produce new content and good luck with that.
Covid has changed the stern show. Something about being in the studio and hearing the fights and nonsense. Shuli grew on me sad he left. Brent was a weirdo but had his moments. Good luck shuli love Mamet (tan mom voice)
If you're going to do it in a tan mom voice, it would be "Lamet."
Huntsville is actually a sophisticated city...there are many labs and work for the space industry. You will find many people that come from the big cities up north but of course Alabama too...and it is a great city.
See this is what I’m talking about!!! I was begging for this on Twitter! 😂
Shuli is so gracious. Enjoyed this so much.
"I wanna grow as an artist and a broadcaster" Says the guy who when he gets his own show, does TanMom impressions, a HOMEMADE Jeff The Drunk puppet, and as many wackpack interviews as he can. Way to stretch those comedy muscles legend.
I’m late to this interview
For me personally his stuff with Brent was comedy gold 😂😂
I think he's exaggerating about Astoria during Covid. I live in Crown Heights and nothing changed except a bit more fireworks once in a while. Shalom Biotch!
I live in Astoria. He’s delusional.
It’s not just Covid. The city has turned into total trash. The summer riots and the lack of response has contributed to a city already in the death spiral. Anyone bringing up a family there any more is deluded into thinking it’s somehow normal, much less beneficial
@@andrewjackson2677 stop whining.
I live in Jamaica Queens and everything is fine. NYC was the epicenter at the start and now the south is actually hit the worst.
Bye wimps
P715R 😂 and your mental capacity is seen by the fact that you live in Jamaica but think “everything is fine”
@@andrewjackson2677 Yet I see people who actually live in NYC say that it isn't that bad, that its the conservative media saying bs to continue their culture war. Shuli just used it as a scapegoat to move somewhere that was cheaper and to get the hell out of working for THSS. Can't blame him for that, but don't be an idiot and say that the 'summer riots' made things bad.
Doing an interview outside of the show absolutely guarantees you’re never coming back.
He knew he was getting fired before he went to Alabama
For sure
I thought he resigned?
He got fired for moving to Alabama
Escaped NYC, and I bet his cost of living is 1/3 of what it used to be.
@@Alvin-1138 try 1/8th of the cost of New York City (especially if you have a family). If you need to pay for day care, it can be $500 a week (per child), in some cases it costs more than this.
Who's the handler now for underdog lady ? More power to Shuli, take a chance. Bet on yourself , we have 1 life. Really gained a level of respect for Shuli after listening.
He said she wouldn't talk to anyone else, so no one on the Stern show is her "handler" now.
She only deals with Mr Shuli. No Shuli, No Underdog
Scott the engineer having a NDA is pretty hilarious when you think about it
The fact that they don't talk about Scott, or do the impression, is a great detriment to the show. To digress, Howard's coming up with musical lyrics, off the top of his head, is terribly unfunny.
Still under the black cloud
Does anyone know where I can order a video caddy? 🤣
I'll always hear jeff the drunk and tan mom when I think of shuli
Eh, if a first time caller gets through and it ended up the way it did for Shuli, I'd say it was pretty much destiny. Dude worked his ass off and made it. Good for Shuli, wish him nothing but the best.
Ray Barboni No doubt Ray.......you hit it out of the park bro!
he's quickly gonna find that his "grinding" has just begun!
I can't wait till he realizes his true calling....Bagging groceries!
Right? He put the "years in" as a "comic" hahaha
@Jay Smith He wants to fit in with the bums lol.
TBH I never really found Shulli that funny, just not my type of comedy but he comes across as a good dude
Shuli Got Marci Turk’d!!!! Lol!
It is interesting that he didn't mention her name at all but referenced management.
What an impressive interview! Shuli, if you are reading this, congratulations on your 15 years on the Stern Show and I wish you all the best in your future.
Can't disagree with the guy. Good move. I am never going into an office again if I can help it.
Two words that don’t belong in the same sentence........Shuli and comedy.
I’m sure his career will take off in Alabama. 😂😂😂
Hey now, Huntsville is an up and coming city, it’s not LA, but it’s a fairly decent city that is involved with NASA i think with a lot of opportunity. I think it was mentioned on Joe Rogan podcast I believe
@@florenceicu well Shuli is no rocket scientist.
Shuli left the show???? FUCK YEAH! I’m getting my Sirius subscription back.
I thought he was just going to work remotely. Wow didn't know he left left.
Wow. I never thought I'd say this but suddenly Shuli became so much less hateable. I wish him the best, and I'm really hoping that he exposes some long speculated dirt.
My thought exactly
He’s got no backbone . He’s not dealing any dirt

I just joined Shulis Pod. I knew Howard since Private Parts. Then, in 2007, sitting in Amarillo Tx, my life changed. You would have to ask why. Regardless, Sour Shoes and Shulli hit my soul of humanity. I now I stantantly subed Shuli Pod.
I will call I and befriend that Rabinowitz
I wish Shuli had been more cut throat and open with this interview. I know he feels the "new Howard with celebrity everything" had to make him lose respect for the old, classic Howard we all loved and hailed as our hero. I want to know his true feelings as a 25 year fan
Hollywood Howard
Shuli was never a mean guy and won't attack Howard like that.
I'm not saying mean but go after Howard like he went after Brent and Ronnie...Truth is truth. Let's do a tell all book about that Leaked Howard meeting at least
I have a new found respect for Shuli. On top of everything he did not take the do not disclose payout from the Howard Stern show so he’s able to speak about he’s experiences.
First time watching the host interview. Suggestion: practice asking questions. You ask a question and then go on and on and it’s not great. Build up your question with the color you’re trying to paint, then ask the question and shut up. Some friendly unwarranted advice.
Unwarranted or unsolicited?
@@Amero2323 much needed
@@ReginaldForman haha that's what I think he meant too

@@gcgangsta8556 because I am helping even without being asked so shut it.
I like Shuli more outside of the show than on the show. It might actually add more perspective to him on the show and ground him as a worker trying to get his share and move up. Hmm. Good interview.
When did Shuli leave?? Wasn't he on last month? I remember a youtube video of Howard asking Shuli about his move to alabama.
Soon after he moved.
@@drpepper3726 no he left the show in January.
January
Shula. I’m sorry you left the show but I respect your decision. I will definitely find and check out your new gig.
No NDA and giving up the $$$$ to sign?? Props to Shuli!! Whatever you think you’ve got to respect that!!
Omg, i recorded every stern show from 2004 till 2017 (couldnt listen at work anymore) but honstly by 2016 he jumped the shark, kissing Rosies ass, firing Howard TV, Bobo calls... just so boring and repetative. I LOVED this update after all these years, (plus your other talks with ex-Stern guys) great interview! Shuli was always a professional, team player. Well done, ill check em all out!
Eric the Actor forever..
Shuli, if you took Jeff the Drunk, Tan Mom, High Pitch on tour it would be huge! After the pandemic 😷 you should consider a USA 🇺🇸 road show! I’m near the Turning Stone Casino and I’m sure they’d book you! Hey take Artie too!! I’ll be there!
The two best days of everyone working on the Howard Stern show. The day you join, and the day you leave.
This man is a true family man, who put his family in front of career. I respect that, sometimes doing the best thing is not the easiest.
@Tony 2x how do you know that? Sounds like some reddit bullshit.
Gabriel...good and true comment
@Tony 2x documented where?
@Tony 2x so the answer is it's a weird obsessive fanboy rumor with no true to it lol thanks 👍
Hey, it's my friend Juli! We used to tour together!
God I miss Jay. What a good dude
Me too i actually enjoyed his show unfortunately I was a little late to the party and didn't listen early on.
Shuli comes across as a mature family man. Really impressed that he’s not bitter or looking to throw people under the bus. For those who hate him I guess my question is why? He’s a regular dude trying to make a living. I don’t get it. 🤷🏻♂️
Great interview!
As soon as he said he moved to Alabama the writing was on the wall. Either he was leaving the show or the show was gonna make him leave. I wish him the best. The Stern show has always been able to not look back and move on regardless of who leaves the show.
wow shuli left the show! wtf! never thought he’d leave
offered 1/2 salary to stay is the rumor I heard
He77 yeah man! I remember your Vegas calls. I hadn't realized you left. I lost interest in the show, sadly after being a daily listener for over 20yrs. Way to balance your integrity!!! 🤘🔥🔥🔥👍
Other than his battle with Doug Goodstein, this is Shuli's best performance. He is actually likeable, and shockingly, he said some funny things. Stand up isn't his game, but subtle self deprecating humor might be. Good for him.
His story about sleeping over and high pitch staring at him was pretty good
Shuli was excellent on Stern and always said funny things
@@PatriotSteve He was funny when he was pissed, or battling someone. Most would say he was not funny when trying to be funny. He was funny on your show, though.
Damn, didnt know Shuli left, and you are right, it sucks howard never ever mentions when someone leaves.

Shuli seems to be extremely appreciative of the experience and had a lot of great things to say about most of his co-workers. I'm rooting for him going forward.
I always liked Shuli. Don’t understand all the hate.
Also he is a hack of a comic.
He was awful. The only thing slightly funny was his tan mom impression but they overdid that too
@@peteparker22 it seems like a copy of Fred doing Siobhan.
I liked him too (in limited segments).
But when he challenged Brent on his 'swinging' adventures - he just did it to get on air. It got old real fast.

A bald, bitter old man and a huge tub called robin.
I really like your interviews with former members of The Howard Stern Show-A couple of ideas of people to interview for future shows-Andrea Ownsby-Miss Howard Stern and Gay Rich.He was an intern on the show back in the 1990's .
It’s ridiculous how in shulli podcast or various other interviews I have listened too never bring up that he finished dead last in win johns job contest .chauncey Joey boots yucko John stutterer cabbie all finished ahead of him . His bits were terrible and didn’t have any laughs
He's right about that "hustle vibe" from up there. I felt that moving from New Jersey to Panama City Florida.
Boy are you spot on. Lived in nyc for 5 years...absolutely miserable. Moved to bradenton fl...absolute best decision ive ever made.
“Hustle vibe”. I.e.- a bunch of bullshit local governments clawing at your paycheck.
Sad he can’t say he was fired. Ego is a wonderful thing...🙄
Why was he fired? What did Shuli do? Haven't listened in a couple years.
@@TheGadFly117 the word is he was kind of inched out. They didn't necessarily fire him they just were going to cut his pay and benefits which is pretty much firing without actually firing. Why doesn’t Howard pay some of his icon regular guests with a living wage- Felt bad for Riley and so many others

Right. High pitch has done lot of work for the show, appearances, etc and even allows the constant communication so the show can air it. Wonder if he ever gets a little bit of pay.
They get paid by SIRIUSXM'S.

Shuli is a good guy. I'll give him that...but nobody ever accused him of ever being funny lol so I'm not even sure what he ever did or why the stern show didnt hav the guts to get rid of him
