    (DBS CEO Piyush Gupta says):
I am a big believer in the fact that work-life balance is all baloney. It is not because i want people to work all the time, it's not about that. I'am very eclectic, and have a lot of time for things i do. It's just tha i beliave that work is a part of life.
    (Chat GPT responses):
While I cannot provide real-time quotes or statements from individuals, as an AI language model, I can offer some general insights on the topic of work-life balance.
The statement you mentioned appears to reflect a perspective that emphasizes the integration of work into one's life rather than strict compartmentalization. This viewpoint suggests that work is not separate from other aspects of life but rather an integral part of it.
Different people may hold varying opinions on work-life balance. Some individuals may prioritize creating clear boundaries between work and personal life to maintain well-being and prevent burnout. They may advocate for setting aside dedicated time for leisure, family, hobbies, and self-care, alongside fulfilling work responsibilities.
On the other hand, proponents of an integrated approach argue that work-life balance is not about rigidly separating work and personal life, but about finding harmony and fulfillment across all aspects of life. They may advocate for flexibility, allowing work and personal activities to blend together, as long as one maintains a sense of fulfillment and manages their time effectively.
Ultimately, the concept of work-life balance is subjective and can vary depending on individual preferences, priorities, and circumstances. What works for one person may not work for another. It's important for individuals to reflect on their own values and needs and find a balance that works best for them to lead a fulfilling life.

This interview with DBS CEO Piyush Gupta was quite enlightening to me. 1. Personally, I think work-life balance can still be pursued to some extent, but the higher up you go in management, the harder you can draw a clear line between work and life. 2. Being accountable is indeed an important quality in the workplace, combining the ability with responsibility. 3. I advocate for a management style that the manager can understand the details and also give subordinates autonomy, so that when a crisis arises, he can quickly solve the problem with the team.
