I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I agree with Chairman Dimon. China has lots of problems, both short and long, that needs to be solved. China is not monolithic (even in imperial days) as people thinks. China is a very diverse and complex country in every respect, even perhaps more so than Europe with their language diversity. This diversity needs diverse advices and inputs from all that are willing. Jamie Dimon, being who he is, sees that and went onto the spot to see what he and his firm can help. An exceptional business strategist and statesman.

The My Lai Massacre was a mass killing of unarmed civilians by the United States that took place on March 16, 1968, when United States invaded Vietnam.
It is estimated that between 347 and 504 Vietnamese civilians, including many women and children, were killed in the massacre.

Let me add on a bit to my previous comment. Not many people nowadays ( even Chinese meaning those born within the last generation) know or even understand the main stream thinking of China throughout its history, which is 「大同」, and achieving which has been the reigning gauge of rising and falling of dynasties throughout Chinese history. This is how complex to pull and rule China's diverse ethnicities and cultures can be. KMT under Dr. Sun and Chiang couldn't do it. CPC under Mao and Deng had barely achieved it with lots of help from US starting with Nixon. In my opinion, China still has a long way to go to achieve 「大同」. So that's the background and I think Jamie Dimon may have sensed the opportunities going forward. My view.

It’s about engagement not decoupling. Business is business. China is by far the biggest contributor to the world’s gdp growth every year

I disagree, i have disinvested $ in china as long as they disregard human rights. I am a defender of human rights. Chinese citizens deserve true freedom. I refuse to turn a blind eye ! I am a human rights defender worldwide - Dont risk ! your future business credibility for $ or unethical immoral profits $ This will have a lifelong ripple effect ! Pro democracy activists have my respect and public support. What do you stand for ? JPMorgan ? I will advocate for real change $ Our entire world civilization must be liberated and free from all dictatorships worldwide. I share this to enlighten, to speak out openly publicly to eliminate any misconceptions on my own individual ethics values. This is not diplomacy ! Respect Human Rights !
