What you say at 14:30 about stock market movement is *TRUE* but it *isn't* the Monte Carlo/Gambler's fallacy directly speaking. It is a potential consequence of the fallacy yes (false representation of strong trading ability), but it isn't always the case. I think that is quite crucial to understand for anyone learning this stuff for the first time. The fallacy represents the existence of "casino" conditions in markets and the world in general, not "conditional probability doesnt exist in investments".

That's the one thing that so many people fail to learn- you cannot time the market. You might get lucky once in a while, but overall you're going to burn yourself out stressing over making 5% on something that if you just left alone could easily double in value in the long term.
