LV pan the start of 500cc race as the riders push away E Boyce. No 16. swerves to avoid a slow starter he collides with another rider who manages to hold his machine up but Boyce falls down in front of No 44. HR Anderson and both riders and machines fall to the ground. SV as Marshals and members of the crowd help pick the machines and riders up. LV the rest of the riders coming round the bend. CU woman in crowd. LV pan N.45. Gary Hocking riding and MV Agusta comes into a bend. LV as two other riders led by John Hartle on a Norton come into the bend the other rider is Alistair King also on a Norton. CU Elderly man in crowd. SV pan as John Hartle leads Mike Hailwood onto a bend. LV R Langston coming into the bend on a matchless. LV as the three riders coming out of a bend and pass camera. SV crowd. LV as Hocking comes towards and past camera on the final straight. LV he crosses the finishing line SV crowd of Motor cyclists. CU Gary Hocking laughing with a friend.
