I remember I was 13 when Pork Soda came out, I had almost no interest in modern music at the time, until one day a friend of mine randomly put this record on. As soon as I heard that first bass line, I was hooked for life. Still my favorite band, with a sound that I've still never heard anywhere else.

In '96, i was a marching tech for Wheeling Park HS in Wheeling WV. For their entrance cadence, the quad players would lay down this bass line. Makes the hair on my arms stand up, just thinking about it, 24 years later.
