- Plenty of performers hope that they get to play music or act until they die, but sadly, some have passed away in the middle of a performance. If the performer is older, it’s bittersweet, as they get to go out doing what makes them happy, but too many times, young performers have died in the middle of a show.
From the comedian that many assumed was faking his own death on stage to the various musicians who tragically collapsed in the middle of a concert, let’s take a look at some celebrities who sadly passed away in front of their fans.

My mom has some kind of valve problem and had a minor heart attack as a result.

Jackie Wilson suffered a stroke on stage and died in hospice a few later, Mr Foxx died backstage during rehearsal.

He fell to his death and died in the middle of the ring during a WWE show.

I remember hearing the news, and hadn't heard the cause of death, and assumed that he died from a move that his opponent that night, the Godfather, hit on him.

Tommy Cooper. Not only died on stage, but also during a live television broadcast. I couldn't stand him, but my dad loved him.

Its always terrible when a wrestler gets hurt or worse. Wrestling may be scripted, but that doesn't mean people aren't taking real risks when they go in the ring
And wrestling is really the perfect situation for someone to get hurt and nobody actually believes what is happening.

Wrestling causes more harm to the wrestlers doing “fake” moves then people in real life combat sports.
Owen Hart's death was horrific. That stunt of coming down from the rafters always uneasy to watch.

The guitarist of Great White, Ty Longley, died in a fire along with 99 others who were attending the show in a nightclub. The fire was started by pyrotechnics which ignited acoustic foam in the walls and ceilings surrounding the stage.

The three you mentioned were all huge performers, but we've seen those performers on everybody's list. I liked this list because it had alot of performers I've never heard of before.

Tube amplifiers can be nasty. I was playing a show and the other guitarist asked me to turn up his amp a bit. I touched his amp while I was holding my guitar plugged into another vintage tube amp and I had to take a minute to pick myself back up, it shocked the $&@! Out of me.

What troubles me about this is, being bit by a cobra is horrifying in and of itself, but the performer herself may have demanded from her handlers to get me to a hospital immediately. No performance is worth continuing when death is imminent. But I do get the fact that these same handlers who dropped the ball on the defanging,were probably telling her that if she didn't finish the show,he wouldn't get paid. Sick.

Roland Alphonso from the skatalites he drop dead at the key club in front of everybody.he let me and my friends get in to watch the show for free I hung out with the group in the green room before they started performing smoked weed and ate together.he died in the middle of the second or third song not long after.rip.roland Alphonso.
