MOM'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE | REUNITING AFTER 5 YEARS APART | SHE DID NOT RECOGNIZE ME!

After five years without seeing each other, I surprised my mom on her Birthday. The last time I saw my mom was in September 2018, when she flew from Tokyo to visit me in Barcelona. It's sad how time flies. I know life can be busy sometimes, but let's remember to see our loved ones when there's an opportunity, or if not, create a chance to be with them. The pandemic made a significant impact on our lives; I remember when Japan closed its borders, and no tourists were allowed to enter the country. I was worried and always thinking about my Family in Japan and the Philippines. Then I got so busy with work and could not go on a vacation even if I wanted to, but finally, on September 1st, 2023, I decided to surprise my mom on her 56th Birthday!
I traveled from Barcelona, Spain, to Tokyo, Japan, and with the help of two dear friends, I orchestrated a surprise for my mom while she was working in her Bar. I was so nervous as I entered the Bar, my heart pounding excitedly. I approached and hugged her, and she hugged me back, not realizing it was me that she was hugging, leading to a hilarious moment that filled the room with laughter. haha
