AMSTERDAM | NETHERLANDS | Venice of the North

Last December, just a few days before my Shoulder Arthroscopy, I visited Amsterdam, Netherlands, for the first time. Ryan Air almost canceled the flight due to the bad weather. I got stuck in Barcelona Airport for nearly 5 hours.
I didn't want to go, but I had a voucher for a two-night stay at W Amsterdam Hotel, which would expire, so I had to. Anyway, even though the weather could have been better, and I didn't have the funds to enjoy the trip, I had so much fun just walking around the city! I am lucky to be able to explore a new place like Amsterdam.
I had tasted one of the best brownies in my life. And, of course, the local delicacy Herring! Or, like the Dutch say, "Haring." I wanted to smoke some green stuff and try some mushrooms as well, but since I have never tried this stuff and was visiting alone, I decided to skip it!
As much as I wanted to eat in a restaurant, drink in a bar, and visit museums, I just stuck to my plan: explore the city on foot! It's not easy to travel around when you're broke, haha.
I will definitely go back and visit this city!
