- My dad came into my life when I was a year old. No, he's not my biological father. However, He's my best friend and hero, after I finally turned 18 I surprised him with the document saying I'm legally a Benitez!

It's amazing to see how many children out there actually love their step dads or step moms who helped raise them midway through their life or even their whole life. I hate seeing those kids with the " you're not my real parent " card. My father raised my older half siblings for the past 21 years after their dad abandoned them, their dad was always in another state only coming back once in awhile to visit them but never buy them things only came back to play the " fun parent " card whenever he wanted to. Now that their dad lives in the state they have completely forgot about about everything my dad has done for them, from supporting them financially and them living under the roof he pays rent under until they were 22 years old.
