I purchased a wig grip band and it works wonderfully well. I use it with a lace front wig as you demoed. It also makes my wig more comfortable-no more irritation or itching. Love it.

Great question JP! The important part of wigs with widow's peaks is finding the right placement for the wig - not too high and not too low. I would not focus on the WP, and instead focus on your over all face and wig together. We can get too focused on one part of ourselves instead of the full picture. Also, a different lipstick color or eyeshadow will cause attention in those areas - and away from where you don't want the attention. Hope this helps and our lace front wigs have a small amount of lace - just enough to look natural. Rochelle

I wear a wig grip band (different brands, I haven't tried yours yet) and the problem I find it that it slips slowsy on the nape of my neck throughout the day so that by lunchtime I need to adjust. Is there a way to keep it in place without tightening it to skull-crushing proportions? The front is fine.
Hi Why, maybe consider sewing 2 clips on the bottom? Sometimes women have little different shaped heads and this can cause sliding up in the back. Hope this helps! Rochelle
Does wearing a wig grip daily cause any long term damage to your bio hairline? I am new to wearing this and wondering if the snug fit will cause hair loss if I use it daily, all day.
Hello Sharon, the Wig Grip Band is made out of a soft crushed velvet material so it's almost like wearing a head band. It shouldn't damage your hair or prevent your hair from growing back.
If you have a lace front wig and your wig grip band doesn't have a lace front and part, will the lace front wig not lay right? I've read that this can be a problem in that you will see the band.
Consider that if you need the wig grip for security, it typically lays flat. Most important to me is that your W G Band is a light color, so the scalp look stays similar...I can't answer not seeing you right in front of me - sorry. Ro
Hi Deborah, Godiva's Secret Wigs lace front wigs come with the lace pre-trimmed so no trimming is needed. We do not recommend cutting the lace on our wigs because you could end up cutting into the hair itself. I hope this helps!
Hi Casssandra, check these tips out: 1. Are you facing the GS logo to face your head and not the sky? 2. Is it tight enough? 3. Are you starting with 1/2 on your hair and 1/2 on your forehead? 4. @@GodivasSecretWigs I use it as directed. The front edge of the wig grip curls up. And it slowly slips further and further back. A wig cap won't stay on my head either unless I glue it. I have sprayed my hair with hairspray and put the wig grip on while it's wet, that keeps it in place longer. The wig gip is great at holding the wig on. I can flip my head over and brush the wig and it stays in place. But for lace fronts, I still have to tape it for an invisible hair line.

These grips are wonderful, but I do have a question. How do you best wear a lace front wig if you have a widow's peak?

My wig grips the wig grips but the wig grips doesn't grip my head too long. After about an hour it starts to come off.
