Nicely done. Resurrecting these old girls are wonderful to see. It's to bad that there isn't some one punching out steel body panels/bodies like the Bronco and Blazer... I've a '65 with a 196-4 that goes wherever I want it to go on 32" .... I'm upgrading to a full set of offset D44's pretty soon...
Was only thinkin’ it might fly because of Ca’s DMV having that rule, of when an engine has been changed, of a “smog check” vehicle, said engine must be identical “OR” an “upgrade” (cleaner / more efficient) from original, which an LS3 most definitely WOULD BE, over a 1977 345 IH engine. Now obviously, such a determination would still be entirely in DMV’s judgement &, likely a big fat NO ‘but’, what do I know…. Some folks have been “lucky” with DMV 🐃💩
WOW... just... WOW. I sold my '77 back in the late 90's after I got married. It was a stick, too. I wish I had that truck now!

Really like all the drivability conversions. Do you still have openings in 2024 or 2025?
What gears did you put in the dana 44s??
Usually 3.73s
Check it out!!
That thing is sweet. what are you using for the hydraulic clutch setup??
I hate to nitpick here because this is freakin' beautiful, but it looks like the exhaust headers aren't welded all the way around at 2:10.
Header tubes are internally welded from the other side.
How much $$$$?
Wonder if since that LS3 “is” definitely an “improvement” from the stock 345, would this be Ca Smog Legal?
Hard fuck no on legality. Unless yours is 1976 or older i think. Mines an 80 with a diesel vin so i got away with it
nope
