Thanks a ton for posting this one. I've had a few terrible drafts recently that I thought were just fine, so it's good to see that you have them sometimes as well. Thought the deck was solid; but "that's magic baby"!
37:53 this curve got me my first trophy of FDN. Even on a stalled board where Alesha can't attack, the gourmand/ghoul + sage/rat is back breaking value in this format, especially with a deck full of removal and protection/recursion Edit: and right after I comment, the soulcaller comes down... had a couple games like that too. I'll be snap picking Alesha until pioneer masters comes out
I had a trophy deck with two of those +10/+10 cards. I didn’t take them highly, but figured I’d try them out. Yes, it does nothing when you have no board presence. When you’re ahead, it probably wins outright. When you’re at parity or a board stall, it basically kills a creature for each creature you have, as they’re almost all must-block due to their size, and they have vigilance so it costs you nothing to just attack All
The card is great .. it's just alot at 7 mana if it was 5 mana for +5+5 vigilance people would sing it's praises I think I've lost every game my opponent has cast it and won every game I have cast it I don't take it highly either but if I'm in green and it falls in my lap I always play it
The Goblin is supposed to be smallish, because he is supposed to get a boost when fighting side by side with a big (4 power) creature. Whether the person he is standing behind is normal human size, I can't say.
Honestly I know usually Grow from Ashes is super weak but I probably would have actually picked and played one in this deck. You have a lot of top end and not a lot of 3 drops. Pack 2 pick 3 you had a more or less free pick-up for one with multiple 5+ cards in your pool already including Viv. Just my take.
Courageous Goblin is standing behind the left leg of, i'm guessing a Giant?, you can see the toes and spiked legwraps. It's ironic, he's hiding behind someone else talking tough, but somehow 'Courageous'
Honestly I don't like Garruk's Uprising in the green red deck. Feels like most times I win with it is by curving out perfectly with good stats, and uprising feels like a limiter rather than an extender

*tips hat*
Because he gets 7/0 for no time right .... right ?
@@randomaccount6146 Right??? 😅
@@NumotTheNummyYT link to bulk up vod?
The goblin is hiding behind the leg of a giant
that's not a leg O.O
Great flavor for mechanics too, he´s "courageous" when someone bigger is around.
Also makes sense, since he's only "courageous" around +4 power (bigger) creatures

Only time I do like Grow is specifically with the Mossborn Hydra... 3 landfall counters in one turn lets Hydra get out of control quickly
I feel you man! I’ve been having some similar experiences…not sure what it is about this set 😂
Very high quality content! I look forward to see you planeswalk to 1-3 again! 🫀😻💝

Green is great if you can the the big stompy cards with elves and garruks uprising. Gruul stompy also works.
No lurking here. I yearn for Nummy attention. 🤩
Wow~ A cool deck and sick Chandra! Sad it didn't do better :((
Literally how all my foundations drafts go.
Maybe the client is on to your frown face scheme
Thanks Numot. Now I learned not to draft Gruul
I only teach the best lessons

You jinxed on stream today! Still, glad you post every day. Let's get to 100K!
Must be streamer luck. Never seen either of these planeswalkers in play yet
These losses brought to you by Arena. Still very enjoyable to watch keep it up!
This was some good wizard poker
Unicorn + searslicer is a pretty fun combo. Splashed it in one of my drafts
Garruk's uprising give your creatures trample, which makes that +10/+10 somewhat playable. Makes for some fun wins at least
Foundations brought me back to mtg somewhat, but I forgot how many non-games there are based on sheer luck
How are you not at 100k subs yet! Come on people!!
Enough courageous goblins and goblin surprise for pump is a good combo to trigger it's buff
Guess more in an aggro deck with raid but your curve doesn't suit that
Is Shivan Dragon no longer playable? Still a huge flying creature that should be a nice finisher. Is it because the PW high end is better?
The number of non-games feels higher in foundations compared to duskmourn
Big oof. That's Magic, baby!
Yea fun when you get to use a planes walker in draft. Even better with two of em Wow ♥️
You have my sympathies.

Frown town here we go

That's the whole joke, he's only "courageous" if you have a 4-powee creature in play
Paul Cheon released a two-chandra deck recently. Streamer luck is real
yeah, well, bet he didn't do better than me

o7 bad beats from a good deck
Nice deck tho

Hmmm yes
Bulk up + animist is soooo grose
