@@mateocossani8231Yeah. It’s a unique precon though so it’s probably more appealing than most others. And ofc if you play Commander, that booster is definitely worth it.
March of the Machines is probly the worst commander sets i've seen at Costco, they never moved so Im not surprised it's on so cheap. I got the Fallout sets for 160$ for the 4 and the LOTR sets are a decent price right now.
Ordered all 3 that they had available a week or two ago and I'm glad I did. I just checked the website and there are no more available at all online. I might make a run out to see if they have anything at one of the warehouses in town today.
4:38 Regarding the bonus packs, in a Modern Horizons III Foil/Premium Simic Lands (Tricky Terrain) deck, I got a borderless Ugin's Labyrinth, so it IS possible to get good things in them sometimes
I bought all the MotM Commander decks, and the Convoke and +1/+1 decks cane be fun. Convoke got two solid cards in Duskmourn, and then switch the the +1/+1 Commander from Brightpaws to Shaila and Halar. I will say tho, I do enjoy playing weaker decks and trying to make them work. However, I do have a ton of fun with them.
I recently visited a different lgs, and one of the people I met there proudly said that he spent 800 on lotr Commander at Costco, then returned every single one that does not contain the one ring. I guess I look at him with disgust, he just kept saying "that's their return policy"
That's disgusting, hate people taking advantage of their return policy in that way. I bought Food and Fellowship and it was missing Merry (I didn't open any of the sealed packs) and they gladly exchanged it. It's nice that policy is there as a safety net, but people who abuse generous return policies are the ones who will ruin it for everyone. Just looks at what happened at REI. Folks kept returning their hiking boots they wore the entire Appalachian Trail for full refunds or exchanges forced their hand to be more strict on their return policy.
30% off and no * What does the * mean on a Costco tag? Next time you're shopping, take a look at Costco's price tags. If you see an asterisk in the upper right-hand corner of a price tag, that means the item will be discontinued soon. Commonly referred to as the "death star" by Costco loyalists.
Well it makes sense the ACTUAL investors are mad. But the people upset about cards they "invested" in going down in value are utterly incompetent human beings, "investing" in cardboard THEY KNOW can be reprinted yet have the audacity to complain. Name a more iconic duo than "MTG players and complaining about a reprint"
They have a right to be upset when this game is marketed as a COLLECTIBLE TRADING CARD GAME meaning you expect your cards you spend an exorbitant amount of money on to retain some value. Im sorry but this game is and always had been more than just game pieces.
@@xeper9458 you typed this assay to basically say "I'm stupid because I INDEED invest money into cardboard" if you invest in anything other than RESERVE LIST CARDS you're a fucking moron, here you are huh bud
In that first box. The precon and commander masters makes it worth it. a commander masters booster is 20 bucks so you already saved 20 bucks
U only save money if you were planning on buying them anyway, never forget that
Yea I was like I would buy all of commander masters if it was $4 lol
@@mateocossani8231 you are saving money regardless

I paid $19.97 at my Costco yesterday for the MOM precon. Insane deal
It's $70 in Canada fml

The March of the Machines Precons are $20 at my Costco. Opened $50 just from the boosters a great pickup

Agreed, sucks sadly… was hoping there was at least some in stock
I did the same thing Seth. I pulled a bow masters which was sweet
Sadly not in Canada..or at least the Costco's around here don't have magic you can only order them online.
Love your openings Seth. Always a fun watch.
In the LOTR one, you skipped right past an $11 heroic intervention
He went back to it. He also skipped the Raise the Palisade a few times...
Sucks that these don't get released outside the US.
4:38 Regarding the bonus packs, in a Modern Horizons III Foil/Premium Simic Lands (Tricky Terrain) deck, I got a borderless Ugin's Labyrinth, so it IS possible to get good things in them sometimes
In my Good and Fellowship precon the collector booster sampler had a Borderless Foil One Ring, so yes you can get good things out of them
Can confirm you can get good things out of those promos, I pulled a showcase Sheoldred, the Apoc from my dominaria united precon

I opened a Fairie Mastermind extended art in one of those Costco prec collector booster sample… pretty sweet.
I got the Sauron deck and pulled an orcish bow master so very happy with that purchase :)

When I bought the token precon from all will be one, I pulled the 40$ version of atraxa at that time
Lotr commander deck has Ascetisim which is going up in price as well
I pulled an Extraplanar Lens out of the Eldrazi Unbound pre-con sample pack. Certainly wasn't mad at that lol.
I pulled a foil Pip Boy sol ring from the fallout precon I got, there can definitely be hits in those sample packs!
I pulled the lotus that comes in commander masters, I think it was the box with the lion commander. these boxes are legit
Where are these I can’t find them in my warehouse stock
either mine haven't restocked, or they sold out immediately, either way, good for those who can get it!
How do you find these? I never see them at Costco
Man where are yall at to find these, neither Costco in my area have ever carried any of them
I *think* the LOTR promos are from the 2 player deck things and not in the actual set but im not sure
If only stock would last in Costco. Nearest Costco for me is an hour drive away.
4:40 my girlfriend opened up a foil abhorrent oculus variant from the animatou but her luck is just insane
Just because they ask too much normally for a product doesn't mean the reduced price is a good deal. It still doesn't seem worth it.
Just picked up two Food and Fellowship.
Have you considered doing a planechase episode of commander clash?
did they have the Hobbit LOTR precon? or was it just the AWFUL elf one?
I opened fierce guardianship from a sample pack 2 times.
I was playing there and back again in my dragon treasure deck and it was just okay
I just bought all the LOTR decks, before the sale. 😞
Commander masters set boosters are not or ever been 4 bucks

LMAO at the "investors"
They are not in California
First! Love these unboxing vids Seth.
why are you promoting buying magic from costco? do you want lgs-s to go out of business?
