But I have noticed that the citadel or K’rrik are so strong that they sort of warp how I play the rest of the match.
Wow, now that was a game! I cannot tell you how much I was cheering when Jimmy pulled out the Gary Reanimate. This felt like a really high-powered match, and it was a ton of fun to watch!

I know the decks are tested to be on similar power levels and sometimes a game can just go crazy one way or another but this was crazy how far Jimmy was able to pull ahead and stay ahead. It was like he was on another level and the other guys were just playing catchup the whole time. It was an amazing game to watch.

Each cards enter the battle triggers trigger. State Based Actions sacrifice one of the two Legendary Creatures. instead we drew four cards and allowed clues to be made. Ultimately allowing the player to change his mind on which creature to sacrifice the token or the card
Problem with Jake's intro, Eleven only makes instants or sorceries free, but Omniscience was shown as a deck haymaker, which is an enchantment, still amazing, but slightly wrong
It's interesting to see these different combinations and ideas. They're so different from mine. The obvious one would have to be Eleven and Mike, the only 5 colour partners, and instead of just good stuff I'd have a few cards to benefit each commander like evoke cards and big spells, but I was mostly gonna focus on clues, and put all the stranger things cards in there to make it more of a flavour deck. Next idea is Max and Lucas, cast spells, untap Lucas, ping things down by giving him deathtouch etc. Last idea was Will and Lucas, but with lurrus as the companion, so it's like I'd have 3 commanders.
Thanks Jimmy for piloting this deck! I am disappointed to see that the Mind Flayer doesn't get as much love/attention, but your version has really let it shine! (this also gives some much needed inspiration to up the curve of my own MF deck) Keep up the great content Command Zone, I'm looking forward to more janky gameplay from all of you!

Jimmy had to shuffle at 21:10, after he resolved Path to Exile. So Shrouded Lore was not the card he checked for with Bolas Citadel + Necropotence, correct?
He searched for a land with the Path, so his library was shuffled. He mentioned that he was looking for a big hit (to reveal to his Keen Duelist trigger on his upkeep).
I didn't expect mind flayer The Shadow to be as good as it is being an expensive commander and building around him. I've been pleasantly surprised by the results. I'm glad to see Jimmy's game kind of confirmed my experiences.

great episode, but it seemed way fuzzier than normal. I get that the extra turns might not be shot on 4k, but for some reason, i had a difficult time reading the cards you were showing.
Nice of Jimmy to not end the game in 15 minutes, sad to see Jake not play the Rampant Growth at 17:30 or save the Arcane Denial, and puzzling to see life paid for Will the Wise and Jake + Kenji not exile the Grey Merchant; drawing cards or tutoring was needed to remove the Bolas's Citadel + Necropotence combo.
Steve is far and away the best character in the show. Goes from asshole popular kid to the best damn group dad in t.v. show history. Don't believe me go re-watch the final scene of season 4. Standing there with his proud papa smile as Robin is talking with her crush with a shirt over his shoulder while folding clothes.

To be fair, those 3 black pips caused 18 damage and healed him for 18 over the course of 2 Garry triggers. That's not nothing
