Was just about to hop into comments section to say the same thing. Yeah, that would have been a cool play with the banshee. Nice job to Nummy remembering to play the banshee pre combat for the hornbeetle though
Haha good draws after the rough land screw games in your stream, that was definitely deserved. Cool deck and interesting draft, being so open and then pivoting to Green/Black :)
My first foundations sealed event I tied for first with a Golgari deck with Lathril. My last match I killed my opponent’s Lathril and he killed mine… but then I played my second Lathril 😂
I think in game 6 you actually win if you bushwhack, fighting a rat token with the Dauntless soldier postcombat - it triggers the morbid on your banshee and gives you the -13/-13 instead of the -1/-1. That lets you keep your hornbeetle, which gives you enough power to win on the crackback the next turn even after having your banshee bitten down for trample damage from your opponent.
Dude, your normally better than @48:00 you could have bushwacked with the rat and used the -13/-13 to kill there creature and had the Hornbeetle left for the win.
Man, don't know what's happened with flooding, it's 2/3 of my game 0_o. Playing Mtga since 2 years, I did 6/7 drafts yet with foundation, I've never been so unlucky (hopefully still got good drafts deck to compensate but WTF?)
Me too omg! Same thing happened as in this video. Opponents constantly pulling the nut out of their top deck and I'm just flooding, after I bricking the entire early game. Wtf happened?! This didn't used to be like that in my DSK drafts
at 48:55 maybe you could've fought one of the rats and the use the -13/-13 instead of losing the beetle

That's what I was thinking.
I saw that same line of play
Yep, it was clearly the line
we all saw it nummy why didnt you /s

12:54 in this pack, would it have been worth it to try splashing for the panda? You had plenty of fixing with Grow and Bushwhack. Panda is insane.
I wonder what this rakdos reanimator deck would have looked like
I thought for sure I was subscribed. I looked up and I wasn't. Surprised. Subscribed.
I had a tilt run last night. 0-6 my 1st 2 drafts. So much flood while oppo pulls fire. Ugh
“Yap yap yap Yea we are deeeead, oh a best draw ever” Nummy the Yaping Queen of 2024
its true 🤣
I had a rough day of magic too. Yesterday was awesome with a bunch 5-3 and 6-3 runs, but today was 3-3, 2-3, 1-3 in that order
Literally had the same experience, then again I feel like I was playing on tilt after losing, never a great idea
Don't worry I went 7-2 and then 0-3 💀💀
Awful pulls
I’m happy if I get 3-3 at this point

Lathril was in my Sealed pre release and I jammed thrm in even without any other elves. A great voltron target who demanded removal every time
Really great plays, premium first screen viewing :)
Now excuse me while im off getting 1/3 ed
Congrats Kenji, well played and deserved judging by your comments :)
I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend...So glad we didnt "just ya"!

That last game was awesome!
sheesh good games, thanks numot
This is of course anecdotal, but from the games I played so far, in about 50% I either flooded or bricked

40 seconds ago is crazy
