I'm so happy to TH-cam for all those who have taken their time to come here and give explanations about DVR connection to phone this has helped me so much as I'm in Swaziland in Africa where we don't have much of everything as u do in other countries so we import things from China and other countries and once we got them we get stuck with them because all u have is manual and the box that show u that the product can do this much but u don't understand the language of the product because u have no idea but u can see on the box what the product can do. TH-cam has been so helpful to me as I have connected my DVR to my phone thanks again.
Have you a video of how it connects? i have moved house and it has a system fitted but I have no idea how it works, I can get the 4 camera pictures on a moniter no problem, but there is an ethernet cable that goes to a TPLINK device? that is plugged in to a socket. should there be another one somewhere? maybe at the router?
so have you tried using the tablet with a hdmi cable to see the cameras? so you do not have to use wifi so you have more realistic feed from the nvr. using wifi give to much lag in the feed.
Hi i want to set up a monitor in my workshop which i havn,t purchased yet, i have a Time2 Oscar camera which sends picures to my mobile and also my inhouse tv. I have an Amozon fire stick plugged into my tv and an alexa echo,, I also have a Tivo box in my broasd band package The tv keeps losing the picture apx every 10 minutes and I have to refresh, my mobile is fine. I just need a continuous picture in my workshop so I can see whats happening outside when the doors are closed. Please help as i.m totally confused as to what I need. regards Gerry
I set it up something ago and then suddenly it stopped working. I have done everything you suggested here, but it is still failing to connect to my device, at one point a warning came up stating parameters. Do you have any other suggestions?
I have Kguard cameras and they have not upgraded the app. So I have cameras I cannot use. Do you know how I can use them? I do have their kgaurds DVR. thanks for any help
You need an ethernet cable to connect most DVRs to a router (they aren't WiFi enabled, and it sends out a lot of data!). Most people use homeplugs / powerline adapters to connect the DVR to the router instead of running ethernet cable through the house (as long as your house is all on one ring main!)
The Maxxone DVRs in this video are compatible with all camera types, so if you needed a system that can talk to your phone you only need to replace the DVR, not the whole cctv system!
