- This video describes how to Port Forward your Router for Remote viewing of DVR over Internet or Mobile phone.
An 8 channel BUSH PLUS DVR & a Linksys Router are used for this Demo.

Hi, my DVR has the same Media Port as yours , however it does not have the Mobile Monitor Port. Should I just use the Media Port?

Any video for problems downloading From CCTV Dvr H264 online.
We had brake in needed to download the incident to policeman. The programs of DVR h264 claims download is complete but the file never to be found in computer anywhere even in selected folder.
I had to recover my computer to factory condition and cleaned all the files and programes , and tried again still no avail . What may you think the problem is?

Hi there. i have a one question....when i connect useing android phone it take 10 to 15 and sometime 20 seconds b4 i can see the live streaming plus i have 5 seconds delay on streaming....do u know how to fix this problem?

Nice video , i have a question . My dvr IP address is 192.168.1.108 and i have tree port TCP : 37777 and http : 80 and UDP : 37778 . But my router IP is 10.0.0.1 and when i enter the dvr IP address it doesn't work . What must i do ?

thanks for this tutorial, i have one question please.
i have added another dvr system to my work place and configured it by assigning all the normal procedure from port forwarding etc.
when i access the new dvr from my android it connects by saying "buffering" but no image appears as though it is connecting to the new dvr but there is no video stream.
the old dvr is working fine.
they are both on the same modem.
also i checked all ports for both the old and new dvr on "canyouseeme.org" and they were ok "success"
i am using similar dvr you are using, since it has same screen settings format
please can you help
Mazen Kanso Ensure that each DVR you connect to router is assigned an unique IP address.The HTTP & Mobile port numbers must be different for each DVR. Disconnect the old DVR & connect to router the new one. If you can get video on mobile proceed to connect the old one.

Hi Sir, Thank you so much for sharing this, my concern is whether Dedicated IP and Static IP are the same . the static ip from ISP ic costly, where i am getting cheaper Dedicated IP from some hosting provider. . can i use Dedicate Ip in the DVR settings for static IP column ? plz help
+Elora Dutta You can very well use the dedicated IP . As the IP is fixed , both Static & Dedicated are the same.

+Elora Dutta A Router like TPLINK is a must.You can easily handle the settings like port forwarding , static ip setting ,-- You can even set the No-ip configuration within Router's configuration.
I have a question. Can I watch the CCTV on my phone if my house doesn't have wifi or internet?
Skywalker CFC no you can't see without internet. you must have wi_fe in your home and also in your mobile
Thanks Sarvanan, It worked fine, but I want to know that on mobile we have put IP address but doesn't these IP addresses are dynamic? will we able to watch on mobiles after router reboot? or should we have static IP??
For conventional DVRs you need Static IP ,or you've to get a DYNDNS service which keeps track of the dynamic address.Either way you need to pay yearly bill.Recent competitive market has forced DVR manufacturers to run their own servers.If you buy a DVR with Cloud enabled or Own server ,it's just easy to enter the Serial no. & password on to their site to view DVR.

Edith Nankya it depends on the cctv you install or if you install microphone separately it will record audio also
my cctv serial number has 10 characters, and when I type it, I can see just : INVALID SERIAL NUMBER, help?

***** All Models available now ( 9304,9204) are cloud enabled with own server.On connecting to internet a serial number is assigned & you can watch the DVR on their own server address or App on Mobile . No need of port forwardng settings.

I have a question, do dvr starts broadcasting video on demand or is it broadcasting all camera videos all the time. If it is broadcasting all cameras all the time, it will consume very high bandwidth. At my factory area, there is no broadband connectivity so I will have to use 3G dongles and that will be expensive.
Aditya Mundra The video data is available only on demand .i.e when the DVR's IP address is contacted from outside.Bandwidth will be consumed only if you view from outside.While purchasing 3G dongle , go for Cloud enabled one.Consult your DVR supplier for the Dongle brand supported.Opt for 1 year valid SIM which will be cheaper.

sir good solution and best alternate for my problem, where i was about to lay land line cable for around 1.25-1.5km for a single connection, since from three days i was on the same verge, how to connect ptz camera dvr to internet to view remotely. a person suggests to lay bsnl drop wire, one says airtel cable,two pair and one says 5pair cable one says unarmored cable, optical fibre , i was totally confused,

***** Generally a PTZ camera needs total 6 wires . 2 wires for supply 24vAC , 2 wires for VIDEO, 2 wires for RS485 . If 24v supply is provided near camera , you need only 4 wires. If you run long distance wire , you need a pair of good VIDEO BALUN before connecting to DVR.
Once you connect with DVR , viewing on Internet is same as for normal camera.
Also you have mentioned Media Port as 34567 & Mobile Port as 34599 ??
For mobile view you've to enter the Mobile port no. 34599.This depends on the DVR & you get this no. from the Network settings of DVR.

Mohit Chaukiker Dynamic IP address keeps changing every time you switch on the Router.To get a Static IP you need to pay a monthly charge tour ISP provider.There is another way. Register a free account with
www.noip.com
Now your Dynamic IP will be taken care automatically.Only drawback is that you've to refresh your account every month.

Your Router will assign the IP address.When a DVR is connected to router and set up for DHCP the router will assign a different address to tour DVR & the system.

I have a question related to dynamic IP from ISP. I have connected and configured DVR successfully.But whenever I restart the router, get new IP from ISP which effect on configuration.Can you tell me how to solve this issue?
+Hassan Syed Dynamic IP changes each time you power on the Router.If you can afford , go for Static IP ,provided by your ISP for extra cost.Or you can register with free service like noip.com which will forward your dynamic ip to a standard address.

arun sharma The Router generally has 2 IP address.One is Internal (192.x.x.x) which you use to login router for configuration/The other is External which is public. This public IP must be Static , so that each time you switch on your Router the public address remains same.But you've to pay your Service provider to get Static IP.
In case of Dynamic IP , the address is allotted new every time you switch on the router.There are services like DynDns which converts dynamic to static address

Yes. Static IP is expensive. To save money you can think of changing your DVR with a new Own Server model.Here you use the serial no. of DVR on the supplier's server.No need of Static IP & port forwarding
