i have a gspec with the 130 spring instead but wiht the same set up apart from the trigger. i have installed the components but i feel that when i push back the cylinder after i pulled it feels quite rough? is there any solution to that? is it because it is not lubed enough? I have added silicone oil to the parts and rubbed through with my hands. Please advise.
Nakamura Shino maybe the problem there are the plastic/teflon rings that "hugh" the cylinder or what you say, the piston inside is not properly lubed. I think it would be important to guess which of those is causing the trouble so I would test them separately. In order check id the piston is the problem just leave it inside without the spring and move the cylinder so as the piston falls by its weight, it should go very soft and without stopping anywhere. In order to check out the rings of the stock rifle assemble it without the piston nor the spring and try moving and see how it feels
@@berett848 ok will do the test separately but is there a way to install the spring (as in which end goes to the spring guide) i made the spring with the denser looped end at the spring guide
Nakamura Shino yes, there is a way to set the spring. Laylax springs have more loops in one side than on the other one. The part where there are more loops goes in the spring guide and the other side to the piston
@@berett848 i think my problem is the spring guide stopper. my stock one is rubbing against the cylinder spacing. without adding the trigger the bolt pull and push is super smooth. I have tried with just the piston in the cylinder and it moves up and down smooth and steady ( lubed ). I am considering maybe also getting the trigger set so it will solve the problem.
Nakamura Shino aaaah yeah, maybe. when the spring is compressed maybe makes the stopper grind the cylinder guide. Do you know if the stopper has made a wear mark due to this grinding?
hello, do you by any chance know the Joule you were putting out with .3 grams? im looking to build a VSR-10 but can only output 2.3 joule with .30 grams on the chrono tests. Cheers
You're supposed to have the same energy, no matter the weight of the bbs. In order to increase the Joules you would have to set a stronger spring, or make the piston heavier.
rustywalters80 laylax hopup unit for TM VSR10 is quite the same as the original one and, indeed it is supposed to be prepared to fit on a Vsr ... so I think so
hello, I use the 170 in full laylax and 0.20 is 500 fps, I have a gas output problem or is it correct that no more fps? It's my first sniper and I have doubts thank you.

Before the upgrade it was about 290 fps with .20 bbs now it is what you can see on the video: ~365 fps with .40 bbs (2.5J) The whole kit cost about 350€ I bought it on the internet in Japan so I had to pay customs on my country: +100€
@@idontcare414 I ordered it via "ebay.com" by searching for the parts on one unique seller (so as you can share the shipping costs). I bought parts to "tokyo-hobby" seller.
Alabama Saddle Hunter .20 and nope i had it tested with a friend who has a chrono..edgi kit is wat im using with an ML spring but plan to get the fps up to 700 with a stronger spring
I had to change several times the spring as I had too much joule creep with .45 bbs. Now I have a SP150 (~430fps) with a piece of sp150 that works really really fine at about 450fps without joule creep (at least with bbs till .45g). Here it is forbidden to play with a gun that has an energy output of 3.8J. Maximum is 2.8 (550fps with .20g bbs)
yes, I made several improvements (fix several air-leaks, better fit to the inner barrel, change some pieces on the hop-up...) since I record the video so as to prevent those fluctuations (among other stuff)
I like your vid keep making it☺️☺️😊😊

maybe learn to use GD m150 aps

im using 0.45 BLS =134m/s 3,8 J
