I have JG Bar 10, and it has some problems. For example, piston, bolt problem and about spring. I learned how to repair my JG Bar 10 because of your video. Thanks.
Really helpful information if you are building your own VSR-10. The info on the AA Trigger is really important. My build I had to additionally do this: #1 File down the trigger guard to just below the top edge of the nub sticking out (if it was nott clear from the video) #2 Use the included grub screw from the AA Trigger kit to hold the Spring Guide Stopper if it won't hold itself in by pressure alone (e.g. AA Trigger in SSG-10 stays in without the grub screw but my JG Bar 10 needs the grub screw in). I don't know why but that is how you "fix" it if it falls out while you are testing it during installation.
Great video. This helped me understand a sniper rifle I bought 16 years ago and how to strip it down/reassemble to figure a problem cocking the rifle. Thanks!!
The point of loose piston head o-ring is that air spreads it out when it's flying forwards but it's loose and feels smooth when pulled back, that's why the head has those holes. You'll feel those 2 o-rings you added every time you pull the bolt back... edit: you can clearly tell that it feels like shit when you pull the bolt back at the end :)
good point, but ours was extremly loose, it even got stuck between the glider on the piston and the cylinder, this small mod helped actually a lot but i hope fellow players who watch the video would consider your comment! thank you! 😊
@@GaijinAirsoft If it is lose then put slighly smaller and thicker o-ring, but not 2 o-rings on top of each other, that's bollocks. In no sealing installation ever would anyone put 2 o-rings on top of each other. There is friction between them, they probably gonna break apart after a while.
recently got the jg bar 10 and I just ordered upgrade parts for it. Some of the best/most recommended parts are either unavaible in my country, will take a month to ship or are simply too expensive for my liking. F.ex crazy jet barrel 6,04 is almost 80eu and will take a month to ship, so I figured instead I'll get an action army 6,03 instantly and for half the price . AA zero trigger only comes with the piston combo, but the price is ridiculous ~160eu.. so I got the maple leaf zero trigger 90 eco version for 60eu and piston seperately for 40eu. Got the autobot hop up bucking 70 degrees for cheap and a cheap AA m170 spring. Got the AA hop up chamber and spring guide. All in all, the initial cost, incl. the rifle, would've been ~425eu and I brought it down to ~315eu and will (hopefully) still get a decent build. Also first time ever attempting to build an ASG, so idk what I'm doing and if this will actually work Edit: typos duh
@@GaijinAirsoft so an update. The trigger unit does not fit, I had to bore through the screw that got stuck in a hole. Now I'm not sure if they will refund me money it's a little bit scratched up and the hole thats been bored through is kind of damaged.. now I'm stuck using 90 degree piston with 45 degree trigger and not sure if that's a good idea..reloading is little rough... not talking force wise, the cylinder sometimes doesnt go all the way back easily and I have to force it. Still couldnt check the hop up.. now I'm wondering if it wouldnt have been better to just buy an ssg10..
definetly the piston, spring guide and the spring, then 90 degree trigger. these are for sniping since bar10 out of the box was shooting only 40 meters 🤣 after that, you can start with the accuracy upgrades 😊
Why is the block necessary? The piece that you put under the trigger assembly that you screwed onto the receiver? Is that a separate piece you had to buy?
Hi, im going to put 550mm barrel into my JG BAR-10, which Im also going to buy :D Can I easlity attach a silencer to this gun or should I also buy some adapters?
you need an adapter to attach a silencer, but just to let you know, the rifle will bee too long and the noise reduction will be almost 0 since the noise mainly comes from the spring 😊
i sincerely didnt check. i bought a set from amazon that had many sizes in it and i used the one that fit the piston and the cylinder the best 😊 sorry it was not very scientific but more theoretical 😊
i am sure there are cheaper options, you also dont have to change everything, you might wanna upgrade only the plastic parts in the cylinder, 90 degree trigger and the spring 😊
Can you add links to where you got the parts? Thank you! Also would a Maple Leaf Crazy Jet 6.01 470mm work as an alternative? I can’t find the 6.04 one
I am not sure about the US stores but you can find the Action Army pieces here in: www.aa-store.at/ www.airsoftzone.at/ www.kotte-zeller.de/ As for the O-Rings, those you can get in any DIY store in many different sizes =)
i have never uysed a double bell, i would suggest to check youtube or some forums for that. the other way is to buy and try them out, if you are good with DIY, you will definetly manage it. but it might turn out to be more costly 😁

perfect, this is the whole idea, if the videos help only one fellow player, thats the best prize for me =) (eyvallah kanka, senin de eline saglik)

thanks for the contribution mate! much appreciated!
I used a set of needle nose pliers spread to fit into the 2 holes to screw my head back on, I found it fairly controllable
good idea, thanks for the tip 😁

Not too loose not too tight, it needs just right

This channel is so underrated.
thanks man but with 20 videos, it is not much of a channel yet i guess 😂😂😂

How do the AA magazine fit in the JG Bar 10? I'm just curious as I'm going to buy a bar 10 for the stock and spares for my build.
Just got me a bar 10 and I’m wondering what are the most important parts to upgrade first? Thanks for the helpful video as well!

From where did you bought it. Everywhere is out of stock
Vielen dank!!! Superb video

I have my bar10 from 2007. It has seen so many many fights but never upgraded it...
Thats interesting, our JGbar 10 out of the box shot 30meter max, not very good for a sniper XD
I had some good kills. In the woods or buildings with it farther than 30m. Last measure i remember was 125/126m/s @@GaijinAirsoft
But if I replase the bucking how do i remove it from the action army chamber
Very helpful video but how much did all these upgrades cost?
i think its in the comparison video
Doesn't this cost more than say, buying a pre-upgraded Novritsch sniper?
it comes almost to the same price but i would definetly go with SSG10 A1 and upgrade some stuff on it, such as TDC at least. 😊
Why is the block necessary? The piece that you put under the trigger assembly that you screwed onto the receiver? Is that a separate piece you had to buy?
that piece comes with the rifle in order to have the proper height/level. i hope i undertood correctly 😊
I believe the block is part of the action army trigger unit, correct?
Hi, im going to put 550mm barrel into my JG BAR-10, which Im also going to buy :D Can I easlity attach a silencer to this gun or should I also buy some adapters?
you need an adapter to attach a silencer, but just to let you know, the rifle will bee too long and the noise reduction will be almost 0 since the noise mainly comes from the spring 😊
What were the inner and outer diameters of the two replacement O-Rings you used on piston?
i sincerely didnt check. i bought a set from amazon that had many sizes in it and i used the one that fit the piston and the cylinder the best 😊 sorry it was not very scientific but more theoretical 😊
Is there like a supply list on what we need besides the parts themselves?
hi, mate. what do you mean by supply list? where to buy them?
@@GaijinAirsoft No like tools, lube, ect
What was the final energy after the upgrade? Jouls?
we brought it up to 2,7 joules since 2.8 is the max allowed here. then we converted it to HPA later 😊
Can i ask i got AA hop up but i dont know the size of the screwdriver for very small screws. Is it 1.5 mm hex screwdriver or smaller
i honestly dont know 🤔
Are there cheaper options that will also work well
i am sure there are cheaper options, you also dont have to change everything, you might wanna upgrade only the plastic parts in the cylinder, 90 degree trigger and the spring 😊
Please what type of oil and grease did you use?
always pure silicone oil and silicone grease 😊
Can you add links to where you got the parts? Thank you! Also would a Maple Leaf Crazy Jet 6.01 470mm work as an alternative? I can’t find the 6.04 one
I only have european stores. where are you from? 😊
@@GaijinAirsoft I’m from US, I’ve also watched your video, where did you get the 2 rubber washers to replace the old over sized one by the way?

As for the O-Rings, those you can get in any DIY store in many different sizes =)
All crazy jet barrels are the same diameter. For some reason, several stores mislabeled the inner diameter
i have a double bell vsr10, what parts are compatible with it?
i have never uysed a double bell, i would suggest to check youtube or some forums for that. the other way is to buy and try them out, if you are good with DIY, you will definetly manage it. but it might turn out to be more costly 😁
