This mashup is compiled from an intense combat deployment where both Ryan Hendrickson and Kyle Morgan share their perspectives. They recount an incident while conducting clearing operations, an interpreter wandered off, and Ryan was advised to move the interpreter away from uncleared territory. This is a story of true heroism in which Ryan, ultimately making his way back with the interpreter, stepped on an IED. While a team sergeant was only 25 meters away from Ryan, Kyle ran through an uncleared minefield to aid Ryan, who was severely wounded. The actions of Kyle and another mate saved Ryan's life, and you get to hear the chilling mashup as both tell their sides of the story.

Love the intertwining of o perspectives between the people that were there, speaking about the same experiences from their positions.
Clever and interesting
Sean Ryan Show is the best production there has ever been! The editing and production of this show is unlike any other! Think about how cool it is to cover one event in combat from two different warfighter’s perspectives! Think of the work involved in hunting down those specific parts of each multi-hour episode and splicing them together to create this seamless masterpiece! The way this is edited and produced makes the viewer have such an elevated level of detail and really helps the viewers be able to picture everything that happened and gives the viewers a watching experience that is so good that it leaves you wanting desperate to hear more! This isn’t the first time that you have taken interviews from several different guests and compiled the parts of the interviews that cover the same moment in time, and perfectly integrate them together. I think you made a similar style video with pieces of the interviews from Jason Redman and D.j. Shipley about the firefight on the night in Iraq where Jay got shot in the face trying to get to cover behind the tractor tire and I’m pretty sure you did another mashup from pieces of the episodes with D,J, Shipley and another Seal, (whose name I can’t remember at the moment), that was with him on that hit going after that Al-Shabaab leader in that seaside village in Barawe, Somalia. I don’t know of any other shows or podcasts online that make productions like this! I love these types of coordinated mashups! Keep up the good work Sean! 🇺🇸 🦅 🤘🏻 🍻

I really love these edits where we get multiple perspectives of the same story at the same time. The editing is top notch. Almost as if everyone is sitting there having a real conversation. Love Kyle Morgan's episode, loved Ryan Hendricksons. Hearing the story again in this context just adds another layer to it. Great job Shawn Ryan and Team, as always!

Felt like a whole new "how's this going to end?!" experience even after hearing it for now the 3rd time lol! That was HEAVY! I love how both tell the story from their perspective and it just mashes up. 1000 yards full kit carrying a fellow soldier. I don’t think people understand how crazy and exhausting that would have been. Sandy unstable ground. Kyle is a beast!

SRS mashups are the best at showing the reality of intense wartime events from the different perspectives of the participants. The way they are curated documents an accurate history of war. In this age of disinformation and propaganda, our warriors deserve that accuracy and to be respected for their courage under extreme circumstances.

This is a wild story. That's all it takes sometimes, is the right man in the right spot. Or I guess the right man at the wrong spot. Have you ever reached out to any of the battle of Wanat soldiers? I bet there is a lot of stories of heroism and the opportunity to tell a story about that battle. Also a big fan of the podcast man. Keep it up
These gentlemen that chose to become men in the crucible of battle will always be superhero’s too me. So many of us never made that choice in our young adult lives. It will always be a regret of mine that I didn’t choose to serve in the military in my young years. That being said I’m humble enough to understand that we are mere mortals standing next to these giants who fought bravely alongside their brothers in arms to defeat evil.

SR thanks for getting me into mushrooms! I got a bag of Laird a couple months ago and definitely noticed a slight improvement in my mental clarity right off the bat. I did more research into it as I was super stoked about incorporating mushrooms more into my daily diet. That's when I learned about the difference between mushroom extract and mushroom powder. All of these great men are heroes, but I believe after everything Kyle did throughout his career, especially in Africa, he deserves the Medal of Honour!!!
The one thing AI would be good at is methodically looking for IEDs with telescopic lenses and sensors to see through the terrain above and below the ground. Why aren’t drones and AI mechanical dogs being used for that?
AI can be tricked very easily, i mean some marines tricked an AI tracker by just using a box
But if it was programed to pick up what’s inside the IEDs. Sensors are being used to monitor targets brain waves, HR, body chemistry, so AI can sense chemicals- explosives- like dogs, and point at them. Even if some are decoys, I’m sure they would pick up a lot of then. There are satellites tracking people- We have the patents on that technology- so I’m sure they can track objects as well. Also there will be people monitoring them from a distance using good common sense.
I think it would be cool if you could get 6 different veterans from Vietnam to the Gulf war from Iraq to Afghanistan maybe Korean war vet and maybe WWII the are pushing the age of 100 so it might be getting harder.

Kyle Morgan is a charismatic leader you follow. He is the epitome of what an ultra-elite special operator is all about. Unfortunately, Kyle Morgan did not get properly recognized, as he should've been, for his meritorious military service to our nation. In fact, Kyle is the "poster boy" for Delta.
