Shawn/Production Team - they are all EPIC, but if you guys somehow manage to get MSgt. Kevin Holland on, he would be able to provide direct insight as to the hit on the farm. Combining all three would make for a truly SPECTACULAR story. Sadly, as the only publicly know warfighter to be part of Dev and CAG, he has done VERY few interviews. I think an interview with Shawn would make for an amazing episode that could impact lives on both the civilian and service sides.

Fair play boys...i lost my best friend. Marine Andrew Bowling. Was hit by cross fire in the neck and died November 2004 in Iraq. He was 24 years old. He had only 2 weeks left to serve and was done. I spoke to him October 2004 and was planning on meeting up with him in January. I was living in Ireland. I flew in January and met his mother. I was devastated. RIP Andrew. Will be always be a legend.

I spent 8 years in the 82nd 1st/504th and 3 years with Triple Canopy. I remember being an E nothing on my 1st OIF deployment (first deployment ever actually) and the Delta Ninjas came through our FOB to stage for a mission we obviously weren’t aware of, but I’m fairly certain it was this. Every single one of those shooters walked and talked in a manner that I can’t quantity in words, but even as a young kid who knew very little about Special Forces at that point I knew these were dangerous men; the apex predators if you will.

So if you know the truth about the 1991 gulf war then you will understand why the former Bush 41 staffers were hell bent on “Saddam had something to do with 9/11”. Several reporters were black balled for covering the truth on 1991. It turns out we “gifted” Saddam oil wells or we had Kuwait gift him oil. Then saddam sent oil workers in to see what they gave him. We announced “SADDAM INVADES KUWAIT” so Saddam sends his military in to get his oil workers out. Basically so he could save face with the Iraqi people. I think he feared the Iraqis would turn on him if he just left them. -- so 9/11 happens and those former staffers responsible for that operation. Saddam is the only guy they can think of that would want revenge that bad. It turns out 1946-2000 we overthrew 83-100 governments covert/overtly. So any logical person will understand, we had atleast 83 enemies in the world! --- then in 2011-2014 the cia funds or trains terrorist to basically go overthrow Syria, the idea was make Syria have no choice but to invite us military in to fight “this enemy”. All so we could get control of the NE oil fields. -- remember originally we tried the same thing we did with saddam. The cia paid the Kurds to go overthrow Iraqi government right after the gulf war ended. And saddam gassed them to put down the uprising. Fast forward we try to overthrow Syria via a group and Assad gassed them. Remember Obama was trying to go to war over the gas attacks. but Americans spoiled his plan and refused to support his operation. We also did this is Nicaragua. The cia created Terrorist group A to destabilize. Then they create group B “The Freedom Fighters” to go eradicate Group A, it turns out they created both. A cia whistle blower came out and told the truth.

Yeah the Iraq war was a crime. The whole reason this war was started was because Iraq supposedly (a lie) had Weapons of Mass Destruction. The weapons were never found after the fact. Millions of innocent people died and so did many American soldiers for nothing. America was never in any threat or risk. Very sad. BS war. And George Bush never was charged with any crime or anything.

Shawn is so humble, put him in a panel with anyone, when he was with Marcus Lutrell and that crew doing a pod, he’s so humble, at the end he said “I think he thought I could relate and I couldn’t, that’s a lot of good work” helluva a guy. America owes him one, America owes tons and tons of vets.

This is a really cool compilation, firsthand accounts of a piece of history. It’s a little heartbreaking when Tom says “oh yeah, bin laden, saddam, we got him, big deal. Next target.” Like they’re rolling a boulder up a hill

I was in Iraq, for OIF-1. I remember being there when they announced that they had found & captured Sadam. My old 4th ID INF. BN. Had been there, as a part of that, from what I heard. I had been in 1/8th INF. BN., 4th ID, during the majority of my first enlisted. I had actually deployed to Iraq, in '03, from Germany, though. Watching this was very moving for me. Potentially, slightly triggering as well. However, that's why I've been working with a therapist for quite some time now. Thank you for publicating this, I appreciate it.

The Tom Satterly interview stuck with me. I can't really understand why, and I did not serve in the military at all, but something about him just hit me in some way that I can't explain and has got me watching every SRS interview i come across that involves any Delta operator or Navy Seal

I did some electrical work for one of the soldiers or his dad (can't remember exactly) on a barn he had. Pretty sweet setups and he had an actual photo of when they found him. Clean white pajamas but he looked really rough. It's crazy that they were that close to all of it

I was on one of the "tanks" outside the house at BIAP,only they were Bradley Fighting Vehicles, not tanks. We guarded that house for the first six weeks that Saddam was in captivity. Saddam had cardiac issues and we had to have a QRF ready to go at a moments notice to take him to the MASH unit down the street. I sat on the road to BIAP guarding the entrance for most of that Thanksgiving. We had a Thermite Thanksgiving in our little chow hall while all the Pogue's got to eat with W.
