      Logitech's app G HUB would not see my M502X as active so I couldn't set it up for gaming on my Mac.
      I spent 8 hours in chat help and email with 4 different techs.
      it worked as a normal mouse but I RMA'd it and ordered a Corsair M65.

    Have a g903 and love it. Wish the g604 wasn’t the only one that offered a bluetooth mode though, as I really wish I could use my 903 on more than one device.

    The G604's one failing is that the switches for the left and right primary buttons were of inferior quality, and would wear out in about 1-1.5 years of gaming use. Even given that, I'm still immeasurably disappointed that it's been discontinued, as there's really no equivalent to that button layout in such a well-built package.

      I agree the G602 was my favorite mouse ever! Then Logitech made an updated version with their Lightspeed wireless technology, the G604. The Bluetooth connectivity option was a VERY NICE cherry on top. The G604 to this day is my favorite mouse in the world. However, what Valavern says is unfortunately true. I have two of these mice due to the left click going out and this was not an issue with the G602. I am now in a position where I am having to look at other companies because Logitech offers nothing close in terms of design and number of buttons/button placement. Currently looking at possibly getting the Corsair Darkstar Wireless as I am currently testing the corsair virtuoso rgb wireless xt, mainly for the simultaneous connectivity option (PC and Bluetooth) and it seems that this will be my next headset. I very much like to have only one program for gaming software and I have the G915 which was purchased last year and is now having issues with certain keys having issues not detecting when they are being pressed/pressing multiple times for one press. I am thinking that Logitech finally did it. They became a large portion of PC Gamers preferred company and now they do not care as much about quality. I never thought the day would come when I would consider moving to another company as I have been a Logitech only PC Gamer for like 10+ years now. Sorry for the long comment, loved the video. Keep up the great content!

      @@IcE_GAmEN I hade two g604 but unfortunately both of them has double clicking issue.. One of them is replaced under the warranty but now the replaced one's warranty has ended so I'll throw away the second one. I checked the repair videos but it's nearly unrepairable.. Just had the permanent double-click issue after 6 years. Otherwise it’s a brilliant mouse. In terms of double-click issue, there is a fix to reset your 903. You need to use the button under the on and off switch.

    I have the G305. For me the one to go for is the G604. I'm not a gamer, I use gaming mice for productivity work and love assigning macros to the buttons.

    • @T3CHUP
      @T3CHUP  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, the g604 is a great productivity mouse with all of its buttons for those macros. I actually find it better than the mx master series of mice even though those are considered to be logitechs best productivity mice.

      @@T3CHUP Ive been using the G604 for 4 years and before had the g602 when it came out. I love the extra buttons on the side but recently I got the g305 in hopes of the lighter weight being better for FPS. Im not disappointed with the G604 for gaming, its amazing with the buttons. I am confused, my body is telling me that the g305 is better for FPS but I cant get over the G604, the only issue I keep telling myself is the frictionless pads and SuperGlide doesn't offer feet for the G604 unfortunately and I cant seem to find any other alternatives. I definitely need some extra info from your opinion from the two mices :/. Theres so comparison videos for the G305 and G604 which is sooo understandable since they both are the opposite end of the spectrum. What do you think?

    • @dtester

      @@ahmedzohaibzia4492 Superglide does offer "dots" for mice they don't specifically have replacements for. I think the 6mm dots will fit the G604. I also saw a post that the G304 feet will fit the G604 as well.

  • @lth_lch
    @lth_lch ปีที่แล้ว +13

    Not an fps gamer myself, but the G305 is just about perfect for me in almost every way except for the weight balance. Just suits my natural claw grip better than any other mouse shape. The G403/703 shape would probably be my second favorite shape specifically for how comfortable it is to palm grip for me personally, but I don’t naturally tend to palm grip, so I’ve never felt especially compelled to buy one. Kinda wish Logitech would try giving the G305 the superlight treatment, as I’m not as much of a fan of the G Pro shape.

    I bought the G604 because it was the only wireless mouse that had fast scrolling and a top-triggered Bluetooth and USB wireless mode switcher. I love the idea of owning a G502X but its lack of Bluetooth would prevent me from using it with two devices.

    Would you recommend GPro X Superlight or Deathadder V3 ? I'm leaning towards more to DAV3 as its more new and has type C for charging.
    I'm currently using Logitech G103. I was planning to get G502X plus as well.

    • @T3CHUP
      @T3CHUP  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So for me it mainly almost comes down to grip. Therefore, I’d recommend the Deathadder V3 more over the GPro x Superlight cause I’m more of a palm grip type of person when using my mouse and that mouse along with the G502X are great for that type of grip. If your looking for a much slimmer and lighter mouse that’s meant for a finger grip than the GPro Superlight is where it’s at. However, the DAV3 and G502X just offer more features and battery than the superlight in my opinion. Hope this helps 👍

    Just repaired my old G700 and it's good as new again- very nice build quality and was reminded why that mouse was $100 back then- perfect for work purposes now since it's not supported in Win 10 anymore.
    I've been using the G502 for 6 years or so for advanced casual gaming (ie. good at gaming but no time for it), and it's definitely a very ergonomic mouse with very precise performance. I'm ready to repair it once it starts double clicking... When the G700 crapped out for wfh, I bought the $35 G305, and that's also a very impressive performing mouse for the price. Logitech simply has the best mice, however, they are well aware of 'why' their mouse buttons are dying so soon, but are doing nothing to avoid it- and the typical customer is going to throw it away then buy another one.

    When will they come back with a G604 upgrade that could be linked to G915 M1 M2 M3 profile buttons? I would like to choose and see the mouse profile with and on my keyboard G915 M1 M2 M3 profile buttons. A light indicating the selected profile on the next G604 could also be nice. G602 and G604 are the only one that uses since 2013. I count only 11 programmable button on the G502 when my G604 have 13. Now CORSAIR offers the DARKSTAR WIRELESS RGB MMO Gaming Mouse with 15 Programmable buttons. If LOGITECH doesn't come back with new G604 (I don't want the G502), I will probably have to change for the DARKSTAR which seems to be a logic and nice improvement.

Left button fails to register clicks from time to time but it's not a big deal for me I've just swapped primary button from Windows settings. Now I use a G402 for about 6-7 years. You said you've owned a g502 lightspeed and enjoyed it for many years of course you're going to pick the newer version as the best. I've enjoyed the g604 for many years and if a newer one came out, I'd probably would say it's the best for me. It's all a matter of preference on which one feels better. I tried the g502 because I wanted to try something different, but I didn't like it because I was use to the 6 buttons on the side with the g604. However, you did a great job on the review, and I just might give the g502 X Plus another try. I love all of the Logitech products. My G910 Orion Spectrum keyboard is still rock solid and well worth the $200 bucks.💢💯💢
