using attack shark r1, 26 dollars, no creaks, been using 6 months already. Clicks huano white dots, but implentation feels better than pink dots. Don't know what to say, deathadder v3 hyperspeed is the exact same shape as this for 7 times the price. The age of logitech and razer dominating the gaming market is over.
@@TheRageAcademy Or maybe, just hear me out, Logitech and Razer have to charge more because they actually have to do R&D on their mice. All these Chinese companies are taking the work that the bigger brands have done, reverse engineered them, and cut out all R&D cost. Most of these cheap Chinese mice are literally direct clones of Logitech and Razer mice. What has happened to us as a society where we used to frown upon this type of behavior and are now suddenly encouraging it? How many of these mice companies do you think would exist in a country where they actually respect intellectual property laws?

@@TheRageAcademy you should make a video about cheap alternatives to expensive products, like this one where the cheap alternative is the attack shark x3 and the expensive product is logitech superlight
Nice video, good that more people are covering mice like this. Its crazy how overly expensive some mice are just because they are from more known brands
They are literally cheaper because they are downright ripping off and copying the designs from these more well known brands. Do you not realize that for PC products, a good portion of the cost is the R&D to come up with the design?
Another thing to consider about products is the scrap rate and QC, bigger brands probably have higher QC standards and a lower scrap rate when mice come off the production line. But Aliexpress mice can probably justify accepting more of a lottery in terms of QC so that they can have a lower scrap rate, and make up for it by reduced final costs to the consumer.
We need more guys like you to tell the truth, and give people what they NEED to know. It's quite lucky for me too cus I was planning on buying an A.Shark mouse.
Bought it on March 2024 worked really well on cable, had precision issues with its 2.4 dongle so I used it mainly wired when playing. Was fine until yesterday when I turned on my pc every time I click it freezes for a second or two have no idea why, tried everything drivers and everything even opened it to see inside if it had an issue and cleaned it but still nothing. When I use cable it freezes when I use the three top buttons (right, left and wheel button) side buttons work normally. Also when using it wireless it doesn't freeze when I click but have to click multiple times for it to response, tried different cable same thing so it's no the cable.. Searched online no one had this issue even with other brands it's so weird especially when it was perfectly fine when I turned off my PC the previous night, by the morning it was broken by it self..
why, are you easily lead by hyperbole and misdirection? seems so. basically nothing more than the chinese ripping of the companies who do the actual expensive r&d to make the product in the first place
I've been wondering about his mouse for a while as well. I saw an Ad from Shein about this mouse while looking for a budget mouse for my college life but wow, thank you for making this video because now I'm actually thinking about this.
Yo, I've been involved in the copy scene for quite sometime now and I am really shocked to see that they actually tell you that information. I guess it is not a secret anymore that there are big vendors out there that has the ability to produce huge blank units and then sell it to other companies while offering them the ability to modify cosmetics and/or components for certain costs.
I had no idea both Attack Shark and Ajazz products were manufactured by Kysona! I had already given up on "established" peripheral brands and turned towards mainland chinese and/or taiwanese ones, but it's good to know that the OEM is Kysona. I'll give their own branded products a try next.
In my country Malaysia, you can get Attack Shark X3 for $30. Sometimes below that due to promotion. This mouse is very popular in gaming mouse category. Awesome video 🤟
It's been known that some materials in other industry not just for mouse like for example carbon frames for bikes they are produced in the same factories and then get bought and rebranded by different companies. This is most prevalent in China. Some big companies are doing this but I'm not gonna mention one to be safe. 😄
i have a attack shark x3 and i bought it from aliexpress and here's the thing, that mouse cost me R$120,00(BRL) but a logitech g pro superlight is 600+(BRL), i couldn't be happier, i have a mouse that last almost a week with one charge (playing every day for more than 5 hours) and it has one of the best sensors on the market, i would recommend that mouse to everybody that wants a good one and want to stay on budget
Ive been supporting attack shark for the last year. I have both the x85 keyboard and x3 wireless mouse. bang for the buck cant go wrong. attack shark support is way better & was open with me from the start that they were producing other mice under different names. I'll still be buying products from them in the future as long as they are around.

Companies like logitech have been overpricing their products for a while now, like 3 years ago an aukey mouse for 40 dollars and it was wireless with 1k hz polling rate, a really good sensor, 3 side buttons and you can make infinite profiles in the software

Yes . Everyone is getting ripped off sadly by Razr & Logitech and yet i might consider Attackshark X3 as a backup mouse to my current one. Very insightful video ngl.
Apart of me wanting to stick with name brands is literally just the software, but its great that there are good affordable mice for everybody to enjoy.
great exposé brother. I suspect they manufacture for pulsar as well based on that bottom shell construction. anyway great content, commenting for the algo!!
I don’t think pulsar is the same. I’ve actually just had some back and forth with them about their manufacturing process due to an upcoming video on the X2H es. As far as I can tell you, Pulsar custom makes some of their components (encoder) and boards. They hand sculpt the mouse shapes by clay and then refine it digitally. They’re currently trying to bring all production to South Korea. I think the Kysona factory may of just be cloning the pulsar bottom plate. But who knows I could be 100% wrong too
@@TheRageAcademy Sorry if I worded it oddly, fixed now - I meant Kysona uses the same OEM as Attack Shark. Pulsar has manufactured in Korea for quite a bit now

I ordered a Darmoshark M3 around a month ago and i have been loving it It is so good for its price the only thing which bothered me is the coating, took me some time to get used to it but apart from that no complains the battery lasts me almost a week lol
Yeah, that's the one spot where the chinese brands tend to cut corners. The coating on a lot of the Shenzen mice tend to be raw plastic instead of something finished
Bro I personally knew we were getting ripped off because a lot of people prefer the "brand" over the generics so obviously people will pay a lot for Logitech mice, BUT Logitech G pro X Superlight 2 does offer a polling rate of 4000hz which I do enjoy but for $160 honestly just go for the Attack Shark X3 for a good price👍
How can you only have 1.74k suscribers, I thought you were on the millions!! Amazing video, love your content. Pd. What camera and microphone do you use?
Thanks man 🙏 I use a Sony A7iv but I may upgrade to a Sony Fx3 depending on if there’s a reasonable sale or not. I use the GM 24-70 f/2.8 for my my work but I have a Sigma 100 f/2.8 macro and a Laowa 18(ish?) tilt shift ultra wide macro. I use a Shure SM7b into a cloudlifter into my GoXLR for any voiceover/audio
Its more about brand recognition and trust we as consumers have and we expect smth expensive to be good and have longevity so the investment is "worth it"
Yeah, seriously, if we are looking for a truly high quality mouse that we can trust and use for a long time but not temporarily, personally, i would go for logitech no matter what people say
Online reviews for this mouse suggest the Achilles heel is the sensor. Apparently it starts skipping after some use, making it unreliable in a competitive setting. Still seems like great value though. I’d take a few missed shots for 80% off a top end equivalent mouse.
They released the R6 which is an upgraded X3. 8k polling (DONGLE INCLUDED!), better switches (they feel amazing), and lighter. 43g! (Weighed it) Same exact X3 shape, which fits my hand PERFECT. The shell must be mass produced by some company and these vendors like Attack Shark are modding the internals like crazy.

Yes, we are absolutely getting ripped off by the mayor brands. In February I bought on AliExpress the Dareu A955 Wireless mouse with a charging doc for $35 bucks and I love it. I use my PC at least 10 hours a day, if not more sometimes and the battery easily lasts me 8 days before I have to place it on the doc. The sensor, switches (rated for 80 million clicks) and scroll wheel are great too. If you haven´t reviewed this mouse, I think you should give it a try. I bought it to replace a SteelSeries Rival 3 I bought in January. Why? Because the damn scroll wheel started to fail in less than a month...on a $60 dollar mouse from a ¨reputable¨ big brand!! Plus the battery life on the two AAA batteries is abismal. Using the 2.4 Ghz dongle they only lasted me 7 days before it needed new ones. The 400 hour claimed battery life will only happen if you use it exclusively on bluetooth. I will never buy a mouse from one of the mayor gaming brands again, that´s for damn sure. Great video BTW!
Bro, do I have a story for you. I owned 4 FOUR SteelSeries Rival 3’s!!! I kept getting new ones from the RMA’s because the mouse switches kept dying. The grossest thing about SteelSeries practices are they don’t have you send the mouse in to be repaired or serviced, they DEMAND a video of you destroying the mouse! Only adding to the tech-waste problem the world is facing. After that experience, I am never ever trusting SteelSeries again. It’s clear their allegiance isn’t to gamers or to the environment but to greedy shareholders. I’m glad you got away from SteelSeries too!
@@TheRageAcademy I totally get what you´re saying! They advertise that their switches last 60 million clicks. That´s the reason that I originally got it, because I wanted to replace my old G305 that has switches that only last 10 million clicks. And now you´re telling me that their switches kept going bad on you, on three mice no less!! SteelSeries is such a fraud as a company. Your switches kept going bad, my scroll wheel died after just one month and a friend of mine bought one of their RGB mouse pads last year and the RGB died in less than two months also. Nowadays, I trust companies like Dareu and Attack Shark more than the big name companies.
This video definitely deserves more views. Should be a wakeup call for Logitech to know that people out there are not as gullible as they think. They really need to come up with better products, like their keyboard scenario where they have fallen out the most, if they really intend to keep their customers coming back for more of their products. BUT, having said that, these brands in this video are originally from China - and that says a lot already just by itself. We will never know how they made a product this good AND this cheap. I would love to buy these, but personally would prefer brands just to be on the safe side.
Are we being ripped off by brands like Logitech and Razer? Yes and no. No because we also pay for the R&D costs as well as the people that work there (looking at Singapore HQ). Yes in a sense that they are selling their mice way way higher than what it’s actually valued. It’s good to have Chinese companies keeping these guys in check once in a while.
it should be noted that the kysona firmware should be flashed onto the attack shark. the attack sharks firmware has issues with the LOD and also sensor performance whilst the m600s does not. boardzy has also covered/confirmed this in his x3 review and i have also noticed the differences on my personal X3. however i would not recommend this over other mice such as the VXE R1 Series or Delux M600 due to the sensor issues. also to note is that the GM8.0s on the attack shark are very prone to failure and is the main reason why brands have been switching to blue shell pink dots ( to be noted, the Delux M600 is a Viper Mini clone and is completely delux's own thing and isnt the same to kysonas M600)
Please do video about Corsair k65 keyboard vs Attack shark k85 it’s literally same while attack shark k85 cost fraction of the Corsair or other brands you mentioned this is SAD
I went from Logitech, to Corsair, to Glorious.. each time was for the simple fact that the mouse I liked sky rocketed in price or the quality went downhill, now the the Glorious mice are also sky rocketing in price. I'm going to get a attack shark ($44, with the grips), only because the kysona is not available on the Canadian amazon.
I think the main selling point of high end peripherals is obviously the premium build quality and the features you have access to through software integration. don't get me wrong, These budget Chinese options are extremely versatile, I myself own a Drunkdeer G65 which is a Chinese hall effect keyboard (120$) and an Ajazz AJ199 (PAW3395) which cost me 40$. both of which are incredible and my daily drivers. Drunkdeer's been pushing forward with competitive features such as SOCD and Rapid trigger but the AJAZZ mouse is extremely barebones, the build quality is flimsy at best, the skates are abysmal, it creaks, the switches have inconsistent travel times and the sensor although accurate, it outright skips at times on wireless and the software has absolutely nothing to offer. You can absolutely game on budget peripherals at a high level and they have been my go to since day 1, but opting for them means I don't expect much in terms of quality or features, they are simply good enough.
rather than simply getting ripped off, when you do your manufacturing in an outside facility, they get the knowledge and experience, (in china, sometimes the blueprints too) so then they can just make their own version after a while, and because in places like china where every factory is basically sitting next to it's partner factory, they have lower logistics costs.
It was actually an interesting video, thanks. I am a marketing victim who has lost hundreds, if not thousands, on mice. I have the G Pro Wireless, three GPXes (wondering why? Because they die after six months, fml), bought the SL2 (scam deluxe, honestly), bought the Lamzu Atlantis (not bad, but the shape isn’t for me and the clicks are too soft), bought the U2 (extremely soft clicks-I can’t; I hold my mouse palm grip when aiming and I press right click when shooting, and the gun doesn’t shoot). And now I’ve purchased the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro hoping that it wouldn`t have the same issues as other mice. I’m just trying to find something that doesn’t creak (GPX2), doesn’t have extremely soft buttons (U2, Lamzu), and has the battery properly glued to the shell (GPXes). I’d love to see a Faceit level 10 player review that mouse you showed; it might actually be a really, really good budget mouse for 99% of players.
Its not only mouse and keyboards but also for mousepads , Mousepads like pulsar and sky pads are heavily priced while Chinese brands like Esptiger Lotus which offer control and speed type glass mousepad at half the cost and the funny fact is its way faster than the heavy branded one also the size is much bigger too but most of it is not available on markets like amazon.
Also I tried Attack Shark X3 Max on glass (turned off iPad glass screen used as a mouse pad) it works fine. But X3 doesn't. PAW3950 sensor works on glass, PAW3395 doesn't
They both have the 3395. Macros are supported in both softwares. I would say the Kysona comes of a little less maleware looking but they're pretty much the same for the end user
I have the attack shark x5, as it works good for me, only issue is the one that got shipped to me had and opening at the bottom of the frame and the rmb doesn't fully click all the way on the right side of it
I personally do think they are ripping us off. Cheap mices were also lighter back in the day. They are just selling good gaming mice with the shape i like with good marketing and at a bad price.
I've got g pro wireless a week ago as it was the same weight as my wired mouse (80g) and I needed an upgrade. Probably because it is not balanced super well I didn't find it comftrable. It's pretty good but it's just not it for me. Now upgrading to the superlight is something I'm not willing to do, it is just too damn expensive. I got this one now (kysona m600), I'll see how it is in a few weeks when it arrives. I'll use the g pro for normal office work if the m600 fills my gaming needs as it is still a very good mouse.
I have their x5 and for months i thought i had coil whine coming from my PC...turns out it was coming from my mouse! They're definitely 'light' but after figuring out where the noise was coming from I couldn't unhear it! ...back to steelseries
This is INSANE. I've never heard of a coil whine inside a mouse before. Someone must of grabbed some parts from the reject bin for yours. That's unlucky man
so is the x6 better than the x3? I was thinking about grabbing the x2 clear for my daily and the x6 in black for gaming, with both bases side by side. People were saying the x6 was pretty amazing and there's literally no need to get the razer v3 or anything else like that, including the others such as sora v2, dragonfly and so on.. there's a bunch of 3395 variants so my goal is to find the most properly tuned variant with a base.
A few years ago, I thought I got ripped off by Razor when the Viper Ultimate was costing $129 RRP and went on sale for $89. Now the Viper V3 Pro is $169 without the charging station... you know where I'm going.
What do I think? They are absolutely ripping people off. Also subbed. I echo the sentiment regarding the VXE R1 Pro. It's basically a Pulsar X2 without their diabolical QC issues, and it's a mere fraction of the price. I'd still be maining it but I'm an idiot. Currently maining the Zowie U2. I comfort myself that the phenomenal charging solution made the purchase worth the £130 that I paid...
Bought this for 30$, now i've never held a GPX or viper v3 but bro this shit is tight. light, good sensor, great clicks, very respectable amount of battery life and it came with some grip tapes which really helped the coating of the mouse, overall im very satisfied with the purchase and i don't think im upgrading so my next upgrade is prolly gonna be the best of the best if i ever need it. oh yeah i went from bronze to plat in 2 months in valorant if that helps ;-;

using attack shark r1, 26 dollars, no creaks, been using 6 months already.

Nice video, good that more people are covering mice like this. Its crazy how overly expensive some mice are just because they are from more known brands
Prices on gamer labeled peripherals are out of control
They are literally cheaper because they are downright ripping off and copying the designs from these more well known brands. Do you not realize that for PC products, a good portion of the cost is the R&D to come up with the design?
Another thing to consider about products is the scrap rate and QC, bigger brands probably have higher QC standards and a lower scrap rate when mice come off the production line. But Aliexpress mice can probably justify accepting more of a lottery in terms of QC so that they can have a lower scrap rate, and make up for it by reduced final costs to the consumer.

The size and shape of the PCB is an incredible base for designing a custom 3d printed mouse for cheap, this give me some ideas!
This is my new favorite peripherals channel now.

It's been known that some materials in other industry not just for mouse like for example carbon frames for bikes they are produced in the same factories and then get bought and rebranded by different companies. Apart of me wanting to stick with name brands is literally just the software, but its great that there are good affordable mice for everybody to enjoy.
great exposé brother. I suspect they manufacture for pulsar as well based on that bottom shell construction.
anyway great content, commenting for the algo!!
Kysona & Attack Shark along with many of the other Chinese based brands use the same OEM.
it’s not that deep, everything is rolling off the same OEM line

Yeah, that's the one spot where the chinese brands tend to cut corners. The coating on a lot of the Shenzen mice tend to be raw plastic instead of something finished
Oh man im so glad this turned out to be positive. I always want a value mouse product after all.

Then Logitech goes and hits us with the worst customer service known to mankind
Yeah, seriously, if we are looking for a truly high quality mouse that we can trust and use for a long time but not temporarily, personally, i would go for logitech no matter what people say
@@horros7450 yeah and you'll keep buying their shit because their QC is non existent lol. thanks for keeping gems like this at a fair price point
Online reviews for this mouse suggest the Achilles heel is the sensor. Apparently it starts skipping after some use, making it unreliable in a competitive setting.
Still seems like great value though. I’d take a few missed shots for 80% off a top end equivalent mouse.
Which Mouse?
They released the R6 which is an upgraded X3. 8k polling (DONGLE INCLUDED!), better switches (they feel amazing), and lighter. 43g! (Weighed it) Same exact X3 shape, which fits my hand PERFECT.
I owned 4
FOUR SteelSeries Rival 3’s!!!
You need to look at the vxe r1, 40~ for a 4k polling rate mouse is honestly insane
I got one on order from Aliexpress. I think I've seen a million comments about it haha
@@TheRageAcademy its a superb mouse for its price
Are we being ripped off by brands like Logitech and Razer? Yes and no.
No because we also pay for the R&D costs as well as the people that work there (looking at Singapore HQ). Yes in a sense that they are selling their mice way way higher than what it’s actually valued.
It’s good to have Chinese companies keeping these guys in check once in a while.
it should be noted that the kysona firmware should be flashed onto the attack shark. the attack sharks firmware has issues with the LOD and also sensor performance whilst the m600s does not. boardzy has also covered/confirmed this in his x3 review and i have also noticed the differences on my personal X3. however i would not recommend this over other mice such as the VXE R1 Series or Delux M600 due to the sensor issues. also to note is that the GM8.0s on the attack shark are very prone to failure and is the main reason why brands have been switching to blue shell pink dots
( to be noted, the Delux M600 is a Viper Mini clone and is completely delux's own thing and isnt the same to kysonas M600)
where can i find the m600s firmware?
i havent had any issues with my x3 and im not using kysona firmware on it

The only thing i didnt like with the Kysona is the lack of color options in comparison to the attack shark. Also the attack shark has a pro variant.
True
I went from Logitech, to Corsair, to Glorious.. each time was for the simple fact that the mouse I liked sky rocketed in price or the quality went downhill, now the the Glorious mice are also sky rocketing in price. I'm going to get a attack shark ($44, with the grips), only because the kysona is not available on the Canadian amazon.
thank you for being such a fantastic resource and inspiration!
THE GAMING WORLD IS CHANGING thats something we like to see
Cheers to that man. Hopefully bigger brands take notice... 🍻
Also I tried Attack Shark X3 Max on glass (turned off iPad glass screen used as a mouse pad) it works fine. But X3 doesn't. PAW3950 sensor works on glass, PAW3395 doesn't
Maybe it's better skates? The ptfe skates on the x3 are garbage tier. Hands down my biggest issue
@@TheRageAcademy I used iPad's glass screen as a mouse pad. PAW3950 sensor works on glass, PAW3395 doesn't

Have you checked the new Budget King VXE R1 series?
I’ve seen them on aliexpress. I wonder if kysona is making them too! Maybe reviewing Chinese mice is my calling now
I personally do think they are ripping us off.
You'll be happy with the M600, especially with the glass skates. I still use mine on and off, it's a great little mouse.
Whats the best budget gaming mice for under $70?
Btw could you tell the difference between them and pros, cons etc.
Thank you, i just ordered a kysona after watching your video
I've been eyeballing the Zowie for sometime. I'm thinking i might pick one up for review with TH-cam money. Have you been enjoying the U2?
@@TheRageAcademy I think it's an excellent mouse. With the caveat that it's aimed at claw grippers only, basically.
