The problem with finding friends like that, for me personally, is the feeling that I can't fully trust anyone. Maybe it's due to previous incidents a few years ago...

Me and my best friend has another best friend?....I’ll call one friend A and friend B I met friend A first ...in kindergarten I was super shy (it was my first day ) she asked me to be her friend and i was a over thinker or just really nice I said yes ... so we played I had fun gave her alittle trust...it shot down real fast the few days she pinched me for whatever reason and didint really let me play with other people unless she wanted to (and she called us best friends...I wonder what went on in that house she was a single child )(sometimes she’d be good and others...I wanted to cry ) looking back if that happend now I would’ve slapped her and if she cried I’d walk away....I was stupid but one day she was sick and I met this girl friend b I had so much fun with her we made houses for worms (we were in kindergarten ) and I couldent play with her untill grade one we were in the same class friend A didint like friend B...and one time friend B was sick or on vacation ...in silent reading she cried and said “I’m sorry I’m a horrible friend “ and cried and my teacher came over and said your not a bad friend! Right [my name].....”I-yeah! I met mine in middle school. We started off as enemies but now we're lifelong friends.
I had a friend when we were in elementary school and we bumped our heads accidentally, then we had a couple of other fights but we ended up forgiving each other and becoming closer. Now ik nothing about her and we just stopped talking with each other. So yeah I got another best friend and she's the best person ever, she's like my goddess at this point lol

I wish that were the case for me! I met this guy in high school and I felt like I had known him forever. I even said that to him, and he never disagreed. We were never apart. Then he started having feelings for me, and I wasn't too sure how I felt since I was also interested in someone else (he never knew this though). I'd wake up to his texts every Saturday morning until I didn't wake up to them anymore. I really appreciated our friendship, but he literally disappeared from my life. I know he must have been hurting, but I was hurting too. Long story!
The first friend I made during middle school is a very kind person, she's the best friend you could ever have. But since we don't have similar interests we are always awkward when we talk about anything outside of school. So after that year we were forced to be parted into different classes, she has found way more compatible friends, and so did I.
This second friend here (still friends now, it has been 5 years!), we have so many similar interests, she watches the same genre of TH-cam as me, we both like the same boyband and music, both of us like to play games... We literally can't run out of topics to talk about, I even chat with her outside of school and online too.
Therefore sharing the same interests plays an important role in friendships. Hope you can find that buddy too!

Tbh, having one mega best friend is over rated. I have a few people I consider my best friends, and I like it this way. I know I’m none of their number one, but I’m okay with that. I’ve never put just one person as my absolute priority, and I don’t expect anyone to do so for me. And I thinks it’s more healthy this way too. It can be a lot for someone to need to chose one person over everyone else all the time. Having a few close friends that u love and support and u know have your back is way less straining for all parties.
Honestly though, I’ve been through it all. I had someone I considered my BEST friend when I was little, it was nice but we eventually both got more friends in middle school and were no longer each other’s #1. And that was good. Cause it probably have gone real sour if that didn’t happen. Since she already was getting a bit jealous here and there when I started making friends with people at school (before she got closer to others).
I was also in the exact same position as you for a long time. I had friends at school I could talk to during lunch time but none of them considered me their #1. They all had other BFFs. I was just someone that was convenient to talk to when their other friends weren’t around or were busy. It bothered me at the time, but I eventually made online friends I talked to when I got home so that helped a lot.
I lost touch with those online friends now though.. I miss them T_T
Anyways now I can confidently say I have a group of people (not all who know each other btw, I met them from different places) I consider my BFFs and I love with all my heart and I know would be there for me if I needed it and I wouldn’t want it any other way 😊
I'm very lucky. I'm mega socially awkward, depressed, and introverted. And yet I've found my absolute best friend. We've know each other for maybe 9 years, and I consider her my only friend. We've had an argument where I thought we would never be friends again, and yet now we are stronger than ever. We have very different opinions on covid, yet respect eachother. We tell each other pretty much everything. We are both insecure though, so we both have things we never full-heartedly share. I'm so lucky and wish everyone can find a friend like her.

i have the same thing like your best friend. my Best friend and i, we have been fighting from time to time and we still care for each other. im introverted and she is too she can be cold and shitty sometimes but she is caring.. my grandpa passed away recently. before grandpa died, i was so emotional that the only person who i can trust, is my bff, i cried and she mentioned her grandma and saying that she was sick and after her sickness was gone, she gave me hope before my grandpa passed away, and was sorry for my loss. Im so glad that im best friends with her.

So naturally we were around eachother fairly often and we sort of just naturally befriended eachother. I can't believe how lucky I am, cause since I was 3 I haven't made a single close friend 😂
Though this summer my family is about to move three hours away, and I'll have lived here for 14 years. Luckily we both have phones, and since I'll only be 3 hours away we'll be able to visit over breaks and summer.

This is what I exactly need in my life.
The intimacy in This degree is something I have never experienced and something I want a lot.
Most people around me are just emotionally too distant or even worse they just don't empathize anyone.
I never had a problem with having fun by myself or shouldering something that pushes me to my limit. In fact I'm considering myself to be most resilient person among my family, even the loss of my grandparents didn't affected me that much. Not that I didn't care, I knew that someday they would be gone from this world and I was cherishing every moment that we have spent.

i have a large group of friends and they are very toxic and controlling. I’ve been trying to get away from them for two years now, not that I’m afraid to tell them i don’t want to be friends with them anymore, but because i just cant.
everyday after school they come to my house, one comes on Monday, one comes on Tuesday and so on. they come because their parents cant pick them up because they work late so they have to come with me. so everyday of the week I’m stuck with them and its sort of hell. i don’t want to hang out with them anymore, whenever they’re here they just really rude and they make hurtful jokes and I tell them that i find it hurtful but they just say I’m overreacting. i have tried to talk to my parents about it and for them to not come over, but its too late because my parents are friends with their parents and are always hanging out, once again leaving me with them. it feels like this process is going to go on forever. and i really don’t know how to end it, so I’m trying my best to transfer schools. so yeah, i hope one day ill find an actual good friend.

This year was admittedly pretty rough, but I made it out pretty okay. I’ve known my best friend for two years now, but really only have been best friends with her since October. She really grounds me and we have had a lot of opportunities to comfort and teach one another. We both have very similar personalities and she can write weird songs with me or through grapes at ducks or even stay up talking on the phone until one in the morning. She is awesome and amazing, but won’t believe me when I tell her. I’m glad that I have her, especially during this whole.... fiasco.

Me and my BFF definitely call each other out on our BS!!! We don’t get offended because secretly we know they’re right and we just won’t admit it to ourselves. I think it’s super important to surround yourself with people who aren’t just yes men and will actually tell ya the truth (respectfully ofc)

All 9 signs with me and my best friend. Sadly, 6 years ago she cut me out of her life. She said we grew apart . She still comes through for me in times of trouble over the years but that’s all there is to it. And paid me a visit last week when my grandfather passed away . After all these years, I still feel the same love and respect for her . She still makes me laugh and has the same attitude and sweetness . But sadly, I received my final closure after speaking on rekindling our friendship. She said she will always have love and respect for me. And if I ever need anything to call her. But she shows no other signs to rekindle our friendship . She said she’s all over the place and will be difficult for her to show efforts of consistency. I have to accept that we grew apart and respect her decision.

My best friend and I met on the first day of secondary school we had all the same classes and apparently we argued all the time but we don’t remember that even thought we’ve only known eachother for two years we feel like we have known eachother for centuries and he is always there to have my back and I’m always there to have his.
Even this year we are still in the same classes but because of covid and my school is shutting down every term so we mostly have online lessons

I've known my BFF since middle school. We are an interracial black/white friendship with very different backgrounds and interests, and we currently attend universities hundreds of miles apart. Yet our differences complement each other and we bring out the best in one another, while also sharing certain qualities such as introversion, morals, and political views. We trust each other wholeheartedly and have deep conversations about everything, but can also respect boundaries when asked. She is so supportive of me, as I am of her. I am so lucky we crossed paths and hope this beautiful friendship lasts forever.

I’ve known my best friend for like 9 years despite going from living a 3 minutes walk away to living over a thousand miles away and this list made me feel better that hopefully we will always be really good friends.
I'm so so so so SO blessed that I have my best friend Vieve. She has helped me so much, and I have always tried my best to help her as much as I can. We are both such smart people, and we're always learning and growing so much together 😭

My best friend and i have been on a long distance friendship for 2 years now. We met on exchange and then had to go to our respective countries. Most people thought we would stop talking eventually and become distant. But our friendships kept strengthening every day. Our exchange experience made us so close that i think we will never forget , we may become distant some day, but will most likely stay friends forever, even if not the closest. We have now travelled to each other’s country! I hope we can keep doing it every year or so. I love her very much🥰
